Went to Dr today
So, after being diagnosed PBC/AIH overlap syndrome, my GI put me on prednisone (10mg long term) along with the Urso and Atarax. My last blood tests on Monday showed my levels elevated but still dropping. My bilirubin is at 6.9 now. Saw my PC this morning and asked him if he could see my liver biopsy.

Vitamin C
High friends I've not posted for quite a while, I've got extra problems going on at the moment but will leave my queries about them until after I've had some more investigations, due in the next 2/3 weeks. For now I'm thinking about taking vitamin C, I've already started taking good quality omega 3

How To Stop and Prevent Sarcopenia (loss of muscle mass and strength)

Newly diagnosed
Hi, I'm new here. My 7 yr. old daughter was just diagnosed with ADHD. It was recommended I start her on Omega 3 vitamins. Just wanted to know any experiences other parents have had with these vitamins and if they made any difference in your child's behavior/focusing. Thanks so much!

Need advice on new GP please!
Hello everyone, I just moved to London a month ago and would like to get registered with a GP. My last doctor (back in Mexico City where I was living) sent me here with a lot of Plaquenil and Imuran but I feel like I need to get into the NHS system in case I get a flare up or need to have some blood

Hi guys I am currently taking omega 3 alongside my citalopram. Is it safe to take magnesium too? It's not going to be to much serotonin is it?

Hey all! New to HealthUnlocked but happy to be here from what I've seen so far. The name's Keira, mid twenties female from Australia and I've had Atopic Eczema since I was born practically, and looking to be a life long condition. I swear I've tried everything under the sun for this...and it keeps developing

Diagnosis of Psoriatic Arthritis
So I was diagnosed with PsA and AS about 2 years ago. My father is driving me insane saying he has PsA but has never gone to the dr and is self diagnosing. He’s big into fitness and tells me I would feel better and not have these symptoms if I took supplements and eat only omega 3 foods. He thinks it

Thinning hair with PBC? Urso side effects?
This is a random post and my first. After almost 3 years of symptoms, I was FINALLY diagnosed with PBC. I had been on Imuran because they thought it was autoimmune hepatitis, but my livers enzymes actually doubled while I was on it. I’ve also been on Prednisone for almost 5 months and am in the process

Waiting
Looks like I might not have GCA. The neurologist here thinks that because I have been on Imuran ( azathiopirine ) for about 20 years that a fungal or bacterial bug is somewhere in my body and may hve been there for a long time. Good news brain looks ok. Bad news I have raised CSF pressure . Good news

Hi I’m new here - wanted to say hello.
Hi just joined this forum - looking for support and to share my experiences if that helps anyone. Was diagnosed with cyclothymia and ptsd earlier this year after years of ‘coping’ with the help of a very good, persistent gp, psychiatrist and psychotherapist. Unfortunately I’m extremely drug resistant

Cause of liver enzymes continuing to rise? ALT and AST
Just an update- when we went for his 3rd chemo last week the blood tests beforehand showed his liver enzymes had risen again- to just under 200. PSA is down to 68. We had gone off all supplements after 2nd chemo due to enzymes being high. Because we went off all supplements (except D3, Omega 3, and
