Imuran V s methotrexate

So the side effects from imuran became too much .methotrexate has now been mentioned but am I likely to get similar side effects, given what the medication info lists

I'm sorry to hear that you struggled with imuran. For some reason some people with lupus just don't respond well to certain treatments but do to others. There is currently a big national research study being started to investigate this more closely.

Have you discussed the possible side-effects with your consultant? They vary so much between patients that it isn't possible to say what may affect you and what may not.
