Literally loosing my mind, need to connect with others to feel slightly normal..
Hi, new here! Found this forum and I have been reading a lot of posts which I can relate to, finally. Here’s a little story of how I came about with discovering I had endo. I’ve never had a regular period, like never. I thought it was normal so didn’t pay much attention to it, plus loved the fact I

Pain after sex with IUD
Has anyone experienced pain/cramping after sex with Mirena IUD? I had it fitted in Oct ‘20 and bled (with extreme cramping) up until 24th Dec! Still having odd spotting most days, but after sex I am in agony in my lower abdomen. It’s not achey period-like cramps, but stabbing pains. After this happened

I had the Mirena coil fitted six months ago to help with heavy periods. Since then my hair has been falling out and is now noticeable thin on one side in particular and at the front. Has anyone had about trouble with getting their mirena coil removed? My gp has referred me for a procedure as she can't get it out
I've had 3 different mirenas fitted over 8 years. They have totally stop my periods. My last one hasnt seemed to help my endometriosis much. I'm in pain more often than not. I've gone for it to be removed also TTC but they couldn't get it out. I've been referred for a scan and potential d&c to remove

Gluten and periods
Hi everyone, I am just looking to see if anyone has had a similar experience. I have a gluten intolerance, IBS and endometriosis. My last coeliac test was 5 years ago and came back clear. I have been gf on and off over that time. I had some wheat pasta four days ago, small portion because I craved it

Mirena after a year
Hi All, I am frustrated with Mirena:( After insertion it took about 10 months for not to have any discharge. Then I was almost pain free. I became cautious but hopeful.:) It was great that my kidsstop noticing that I am in pain or spending sunny days on the couch. But after a short break everything

Abdominal hysterectomy to treat adenomyosis & Endo - anyone have experience to share?
Hi, Hope someone has similar experience and could help me today. I had an unexpected call with my consultant yesterday who was trying to reach patients due to cancellations. I was diagnosed years ago with stage 2/3 widespread Endo and since then adenomyosis. I've tried most treatments and finally found

I went through an absolute nightmare of infections for 6 months in 2019 from an incomplete medical abortion which is when I feel all of this

Best contraceptive with Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism?
I've only ever taken Cerazette and microgynon. Both seemed to cause mood issues like anger, volatility and depression, but I only took them at times in my life where I was hypothyroid but undiagnosed or undermedicated and had mood issues anyway. I recently thought it might be worth getting the copper

Zolodex and endo - side effects?
Hello. I have recently had a laproscopy, appendix removal, d/c, ‘freeing’ of my ovaries (fused), hysteriacopy and a mirena inserted. It was my first surgery abs I have been very blessed to have had 3 children, unassisted. I have suffered severely for years though with crippling pain. I have had one

Some foods tasting soapy
I started noticing certain foods tasting like perfumed soap / liquid detergent two weeks ago. First it was pork foods. Then seasame oil (so soapy it made me gag) and peanut butter. Just now I had to spit out raw pepper as it also had exact same soapy flavour. It's not pregancy but I did have my Mirena
