Scared that another hold up is on the horizon.
I hope you are all able to enjoy the sunny weather while we still have it. I've been very up and down lately, but feeling scared today as I'm having a hysteroscopy and biopsy this afternoon. My first IVF cycle 3 years ago left me with a uterine polyp. After much inaction by consultants I arranged referral

Skin problems after Mirena Coil
Hey, I had a mirena coil mid feb and have had really bad skin ever since, I’ve never really had skin problems in the past so I am pretty certain it is hormone related and was just wondering if anyone has had any similar experiences and could recommend anything they have used or any vitamins they have

Periods stop on mirena after a year and a half?
Hi everyone! I had a mirena coil for treatment after being diagnosed with endometriosis in March 2019. I know sometimes people’s periods stop between 6-12 months, but what’s the chances of this happing after a year and a half please? Until this point I’ve had pretty regular periods every 4 weeks.

Mirena coil
I have the merina coil in November 2018. My period this month is 10 days late, since having the coil I have had regular periods. I have some pregnancy symptoms that I experienced with my 1st 2 but had 3 negative tests. Can the coil stop your periods a year and a half later?

Mirena Coil - unbelievable pain?!
Hi All, I had the Mirena coil fitted 5 days ago which seemed to go fine until after 48hrs.. I have been experiencing the most horrific pain and ended up in hospital on Morphine. Tests and scans were inconclusive and I need to go back tomorrow but suspect coil has moved. Did anyone else suffer with

Marina Coil concerns
Hello, I’ve had my coil in for over a year now and I started off having no periods at all or slight spotting for a day but I’ve noticed over the past couple of months I’ve been having regular periods, and they’re heavier and darker than the spotting itself, is this normal or is it something I need to

Mirena and breast pain
Hi everyone! Hope you’re all ok ❤️ just wondering if anyone has ever had severe ongoing breast pain while on the Mirena coil? I’ve always had breast pain but this has gotten unbearable. I can’t even touch my boobs lightly, I can’t touch my nipples. I can’t be without a bra because they move too much

Mirena Coil problems
Hi, hope someone can help! I’m having some issues with my coil. Usually, I struggle to feel the strings as they are really high up but yesterday I felt a bit off side, very tired and moody so last night I checked for my strings and noticed that they were very low down like at the entrance of the vagina

Mirena removal
Hi all I had the mirena coil removed on Wednesday - was seen at sexual health clinic as an emergency because i have had no end of problems with it since it was put in on 20 th January and as I had had another heavy bleed they told me to go in. Suspected partial expulsion so had to be taken out. Bleeding

First period after mirena coil removal? 🙄
I had the mirena coil fitted 20th January this year. Recommended by gynae for heavy bleeding. No end of problems with it. Seen on Wednesday to have it removed as I was getting so fed up with it. Nurse I saw was a little concerned about my symptoms (hence being invited in to be seen) and told me that

Has anyone experienced this before?
Hi ladies, So I've had the mirena coil for over 3 years. But from about August last year I started having pains similar to what I would have during periods but with no bleeding. So they've been gradually getting worse and basically this month I've been getting a slight bleed for about 7 days. It stopped

Issues after having mirena coil removed
I had the mirena coil in for nearly 2 years when it started to become uncomfortable. I had it removed last summer, nearly a year ago now. Firstly, having it removed was horrendous. It got stuck and the nurse just yanked. I felt like my innards were coming out she said that was normal. I was generally

Mirena coil and mood
Hi all I just have a question regarding the mirena coil. I have a complex gynae history and my consultant recommended mirena coil for heavy bleeding. Had it fitted on 20th January this year. My mood has been terrible. Very low. I don't know if its PND (diagnosed following traumatic birth 2018) change

Fed up
20 years of pain, 3 laparoscopic surgeries, 10 years on & off of zoladex, numerous Mirena coils. This is what failed endometriosis treatment looks like. A bit of advice to all the ladies who are just starting out on their journey is to try to get a referral to a specialist endo doctor, not just general

Endometriosis, Marina coil and hair loss?!!!
Hi can anyone help me. I’ve had the marina coil in now for just over 2 months and I’m finding I’m losing a lot of hair, has this happened to anyone else? Or would anyone know why this would be happening?

Started my first period in years after Endo surgery?
Hello all. A bit of a strange one here. So I’m 26 and have had abdo pain for about 5 and a half years now. Lots of tests 2 laparoscopic surgeries with one cyst removed and Endo treated with diathermy in Feb this year. I’ve been on the mirena coil for a year now and was on the depo injection for years

Lost threads with Mirena Coil
Hey, hoping someone can put my mind at ease! I had a Mirena Coil fitted 3rd Jan 2020 and a few days after having it put it I checked for the threads but couldn’t feel them, I was advised to to just be patient with it as things were still settling down. Anyway, almost 4 months later and I still can’t

The anti hormone/chemical menopause injection
Hello all, hope you are keeping safe in these worrying times. I haven't posted here for months as things have not been good for me at all. I had a lap in september last year that diagnosed a tiny bit of endometriosis and was fully removed, but the consultant was certain I had adenomyosis, as my womb
