Has anyone had the mirena coil and still experiencing endo pain?
Hi Ladies, I'm searching to see if there are any other ladies out there that is going through a similar situation I am going through. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2014. I always had endo pain which was bearable with pain relief at first but got worse so I had an laparoscopy in 2015. Last year

Hi everyone, I'm new here and very pleased to have found this wonderful site! Mirena coil/Hysteroscopy/Polypectomy
I’m 48 years old and been experiencing unusually heavy periods, severe cramping, passing clots etc for last 18+ months - much out of character. My periods have changed from every 28 days exactly to every 3 weeks and last for 7 days on average instead of the previous 3-5 days. I was referred to the gynaecologist

Recently diagnosed
Hi everyone. I've just been recently diagnosed with endometriosis and have so much going through my mind. I thought I'd post on here to see if anyone had any advice. I was admitted to hospital on Feb this year due to suspected appendicitis. I had been suffering with pain on and off since last summer

Feeling low post op / mirena coil
I had my first lap mid June, it was a diagnostic and they found a little bit of endometriosis and treated it. I also had the mirena coil fitted. Its been three weeks post op and I'm feeling quite low / anxious. Im not sure if it has to do with either of these or if a change in lifestyle (leaving university

Do you need hormonal treatment post lap to stop endo from returning?
Hi all. I was offered a Mirena coil when I had my excision laparoscopy in May but turned it down. I was also advised to take hormonal contraception etc but I’d really rather not take anything. Will the endo regrow if you don’t take anything???

Painful penetration and coil
My gynae has suggested that I switch from the combined pill, which I've been on since I was 18 (for contraception and endo purposes) for the mirena coil. I've read lots on here about the mirena coil, so I know others have had lots of mixed experiences with it, but I'm willing to try anything at this
