I started noticing certain foods tasting like perfumed soap / liquid detergent two weeks ago.
First it was pork foods. Then seasame oil (so soapy it made me gag) and peanut butter. Just now I had to spit out raw pepper as it also had exact same soapy flavour.
It's not pregancy but I did have my Mirena coil replace last week so could it be hormones?
It's also not covid.
