Pain worse after coil fitted
Hi everyone, I had the Mirena coil fitted in November to help with my Endo pain and bleeding. They did say it can take 6 months before it starts to work but the pain has worsened and the fatigue is awful! I am struggling on a daily basis and can't decide whether to wait it out as it has only been 3 months

Feeling so lost and Alone!
Feeling so lost. Undiagnosed but suspected Endo GP tried to fit mirena coil a few weeks back but couldn't measure as my womb neck was too tight. She wants to try again this Friday with local but I am so scared. The last one made me suffer for days and I just don't know what to do. She said I had to

Does the Mirena increase PMDD symptoms?
Hi, I am a 45 year old woman who was diagnosed with PMDD in 2020. That same Psychiatrist recommended the Mirena to help manage the PMDD and the heavy periods. It did lighten the cycle with quite a few side effects including headaches, spotting every day for 1 year. My gyno has revealed to me that the

Can endo by seen on CT scan?
I had a clear CT scan of my bladder, kidneys and urinary tract. Was wondering if endo is picked up on this type of scan? I have had IC suggested to me as a diagnosis however I don’t have urgency or frequency, just severe chronic pain in my bladder and urethra and sometimes up into my vagina which feels

Tissue chunks Mirena Coil
This is my second time around with the coil the first time I was bleeding insanely with large chunks of my uterus coming out. I needed up getting the coil removed as I developed a cyst that popped and was rushed to hospital. Currently I had the coil inserted a 2 months ago I haven’t stopped spotting

Painless Fibroids
Hi All, Just curious to know if anyone has large non uterine fibroids (muscular) and still managed to conceive. I’m 39, nearly 40 and no kids but would like to have children. How difficult is it to get pregnant with large fibroids? Mine is 10cm and feels very thick. I have a mirena to slow the growth

Some advice please
Hi everyone, so in the last year I’ve had 2 laparoscopic ops to remove ovarian cysts and removal of one ovary. I have severe endometriosis, had the mirena coil fitted and am currently on Zoladex. A recent MRI has now shown that the endo has spread to my bowel and that my uterus is stuck to my bowel.

Contraception advice
Hi all, I just wondered if anyone could help with regards to contraception. I am still waiting to be seen by a endo specialist, however as I’ve been in a lot of pain with my periods etc my gp did recommend me to go on a pill to help relieve the pain for the time being as well. I am 50/50 with it all

Mirena coil malposition, low lying
Hi everyone I currently have the Mirena coil which was inserted/replaced during my lap in March 2021. I just had an internal ultrasound due to ongoing add increasing pain to check if any new cysts and luckily none found. However my Mirena is low lying at 7mm low. I have a history of expulsion and malpositioned

Fatigue
I'm interested in understanding if there are others with the same issue as me. I have endometriosis, but have a mirena coil which has stopped my periods. I have some pain at times, but it follows no pattern and doesn't cause me too many issues. However, I've had ongoing issues with fatigue for as long

Are the tens machine worth it? Ovira?
Hi! I was diagnosed with endometriosis two weeks ago. Mirena coil was fitted during the surgery and my cramps came back (no as bad as it use to be 🤞🏻) before the mirena I was under two mini pills x days to cut completely my period and handle my pain. I am really thinking about investing in a tens machine
