A concerned boyfriend feeling a little helpless...
Hello everyone, This is my first time posting, I've actually been following the page for a number of months now, mainly just to try and learn as much as possible about all things endo to help support and care for my partner. But I actually wanted to ask a few questions today, mainly (and hopefully)

15 years later and finally a diagnoses...hopefully
I'm 30 years old and have been battling with the nhs for 15 years now. I've had a laparoscopy x2 and multiple scans. Currently waiting for my 3rd laparoscopy following a scan that picked up endometriosis, an ovarian cyst, 2 significant fibroids along with multiple smaller fibroids making my uterus enlarged

2nd lap over and done with - pelvis and bowel endo
Hi ladies, Just had my second lap on Friday night. I wasn't having much luck getting a referral on the NHS (they kept wanting to test me for STIs instead) so I made the decision to go private, which is also what I did the first time round, as I physically couldn't stand the pain any longer. I went to

It's finally happened
I am so relieved. I had my lap yesterday (woke up from it about 15hrs ago). I realised something must have gone on because I was called in at 10 and sedated/under by quarter past and the doctor was always adamant I wouldn't be in more than 30 mins unless she found something and she didn't think she would

Mirena Coil.......
Hi I really wanted and advice or suggestions as am very fed up now. I finally had my mirena coil fitted at the end of October for heavy bleeding (caused by the warfarin) which not only restricted what I did was also causing me to be iron deficient (two iron transfusions this year) . Initially seemed

Ruptured follicle, but not ovulating. Anyone had any experiences?!
Hi all I was diagnosed with endo two years ago and had a lap. It was mild at this stage but presented horrible symptoms. I’ve had the mirena coil and that has been good in helping. I should mention the endo is on my bowel and pouch of Douglas. The pain has started again and today I finally went for

Newby but thank goodness I have found you all!!
I am feeling relieved beyond words that I finally know that I have pelvic endo! Sounds strange but I began to think am I imagining this continual pain? I gave up telling my partner that I hurt, that it was all in my back, down my legs, in my lower tummy, that I felt literally exhausted a lot of the time

How long is recovery post diagnostic laproscopy/diathermy/mirena insertion?!
I had a diagnostic laproscopy last month which confirmed endometriosis. Visible endo was treated with diathermy from a variety of places (pelvic walls, ligaments, pouch of douglas etc) and the mirena coil was fitted surgically at the same time. I was told to visit GP in 4-6 weeks post op for review

Hi there - I have a fibroid - diagnosed after an ultra sound about 5 months ago and described as s tennis ball size. I’ve noticed over the last month that when I’m lying in bed I can really feel it and it feels much bigger now -grapefruit size - it also presses on my bladder. If hurts slightly when pressing
