Should I have Mirena coil removed?
I’ve had the Mirena coil for almost 4 months now and I have been in excruciating pain almost every day since I got it. I’ve also had light bleeding almost every day aswell. I went to the doctor who said it was in the right position and there was no infection. She gave me primolut tablets to stop the

Blood clot in urine anyone?
So I’m sat here on the loo at 4am in agony, the most extreme pain subsiding long enough to write a couple of lines. I’ve had the usual pain before during and after weeing for afew days running now (and it is about flare time) and I decided my body was stepping things up, so maybe it’s not my normal pain

Having a bad day.....
I'm sat here trying to be positive. I was diagnosed a few years back with endo. Tried different things and in the end went in for keyhole. It went really well and honestly recovery was fab and I felt instantly better. I had the mirena coil fitted to be proactive and again, all went great. Surgery was

Laparoscopy - no endo found
From the start of this year I have had pain in my left lower abdomen - it reminded me a bit of when I had an ovarian cyst burst but wasn't as severe. It has been getting more frequent and then I started getting nauseous and dizzy to the point where I ended up in the emergency department twice. I do get

Irritation
Around the same time as my Herpes scare my vagina became irritated. This was last year December and it’s been irritated every since. I’ve been treated for yeast infections, BV, I’ve had my mirena coil removed , and all sorts of stuff. I’m really stressed and ready to feel normal again down there but

Smelly Discharge After Lap?
I had my first laporoscopy and hysteroscopy a few days ago (with a Mirena coil fitted in the process) and they found moderate endo. Since the surgery I've been getting a fair bit of watery discharge that's pinkish. The discharge smells fairly strongly but it's not a foul smell. It just smells strange

Did getting the mirena coil help or worsen your adenomyosis?
Hi so 7 days ago I had an laparoscopy due to suffering with awful symptoms for so long and they saw that my womb was 3x the size and looked as if I had a baby although I haven't, I'm only 20 (just turnt) so this is concerning:( they also found a lesion and spot and they've taken a biopsy. When I woke

Mirena coil- only option- your feedback would be appreciated!
Hello. I had the worst flare up I’ve had for a long time a few weeks back. I was throwing up with the pain and spent several days in bed sleeping/on strong painkillers. The dr has recommended the mirena coil. I’ve had this recommended to me before but have been terrified! Now I feel it’s my only option

Mirena coil, should I wait it out or have it removed?
So I got the Mirena coil last Tuesday(1week) and since then I've been in agony. I need to pee every 20 minutes, constant and extreme cramps to the point I'm on the floor in tears screaming, backache, feel nauseous all the time, hot and cold sweats everyday and night, I can't sleep due to cramps. At times

Can I get pregnant after multiple laparoscopies?
Hey everyone. I was diagnosed with stage II endo when I was 19, I had 3 laparoscopies in between the age of 19 and 22 (I’m 25 now), each time they said I had scar tissue and adhesions around ovaries etc but did their best to remove them during surgery. I am now trying for baby #1 but I’m worried I have

Anyway they tried about 3 tes and then decided to do a scope and have a look and tried again. But unfortunately he still couldn't do it and i was shaking in pain.

Thoughts on Zoladex please?
I'm well aware everyone is different, but I was suggested it yesterday by a consultant, as I have tried the Mirena (didn't work out for me) and he is saying the dose of my pill is not high enough to suppress the pain, so a higher dose combined pill is an option too. Thanks!

Good morning amazing women!!!
Hi, I had my major op done in 2005, had a mirena put in and taken out in 2009. After that was smooth sailing until last year (last year cos I had IVF on NHS and it completely messed my insides up!!!) Anyway, The mirena worked well for me but I changed my diet drastically cos of my bowel movements. Sometimes

Continued cycle-linked symptoms minus the bleeding during Zoladex 3.6mg for 3 month
I have just completed 3mth Zoladex 3.6. I didn't bleed apart from 2x days spotting during first inj. But my cycle symptoms continued minus the blood basically. In fact I've been in A&e twice during the treatment on my knees in pain during "ovulation" time. A bleed would have been welcomed actually

How quickly can Endo return?
Hi all, I’m an Aussie Endometriosis sufferer, and I had my second lap surgery in early April. My doctor is an expert in the field of surgery for Endo and he identified my ‘IBS’ symptoms were actually that of Endo. He was right and I’ve been really well until about two weeks ago. I’ve started to get gut

Positive mirena insertion stories needed...!
My gynae finally pursuaded me to have the mirena and its finally going to be inserted this week and I'm ridiculously scared - I've had friends who've had it and none of them have had a good time with the insertion! I'm going to have local anaesthetic but I'm really worried about the cramping afterwards
