Negative thought loops
I find myself doing great then getting stuck in horrible, persistent mental loops of "I'm not ok" or "I'm crazy" or "everything is terrifying/bad"...i know distraction, positive mantras,
meditation
, etc help but I can't seem to co trip it even with these tools. Anyone have this issue as well?

Now that I am more in tune with my mental health I have been more active in the self-care/treatment department like more exercise, healthier diet, and
meditation
. However, it can be hard to uphold that regime when anxiety pays a visit.

Episode 4 broken brain 2 is live now.
Emily Fletcher, the leading expert in using
meditation
for high performance, leads us through her 2X breathing technique. This easy practice helps de-excite your nervous system and is great for keeping anxiety and stress at bay.

23 year old with severe undiagnosed symptoms, keep getting worse, need input. Extensive medical workup provided. Thank you.
Followed several courses focused on breathing (mindfullness,
meditation
). My doctors have been wonderful and provided my with an extensive medical workup. However they don't know where to turn next.

AF - heart ablation
I like doing a bit of
meditation
but can’t do the deep breathing since the procedure but looking at some of the conversations on here nobody has mentioned this I’m just hoping it’s not permanent!

Help
I have been reading one self help book after another and try so hard to think positively, use affirmation,
meditation
. But nothing seems to be happening. Please tell me I’m not alone with this because I feel so lonely.

The worst thing about anxiety for me
I don’t want to do any “breathing techniques” or
meditation
. I want good solutions to the real-life problems behind my anxiety. The problems are real; it’s not just me imagining things. I just want the problems *solved*.

Tips and strategies for coping with dizziness and head issues
I've done
meditation
, yoga, and some CBT strategies (like "putting my thoughts on trial" and other writing exercises). Anything else out there?

Big Life Update
As for my mental health, I have been off my
meditation
for about 8 months now because of the side effects. No matter what I took I would always feel or get sick. The only thing I’ve been on in Nexplanon which is a birth control implant.

A Different Path
There are many tools available that I can use to help address and relieve the symptoms – these include sharing and trying to help others, deep breathing,
meditation
, prayer, journaling, mindfulness, therapy/CBT, exercise, proper rest, healthier eating habits, correct use of medications, etc.

Health anxiety / hypochondria / Zoloft update
I’m pretty sure I can attribute this to therapy, maybe to the meds, to
meditation
, to my boyfriend, to you guys. ❤️ The disassociation I get from my anxiety does really scare me. I get it more on Zoloft. Understanding what it is does help!!

Interesting article.
Hearing and reading about this though, I’m thinking that I may add a
meditation
workout in... I use headspace already, so maybe I can get a physical fitness benefit from it to? I’m also thinking that when I do have an injury, this could help me keep the muscles strong while I heal.

Why doesn't anything work for me?
Meditation
. Ignoring it. Of course I can't do any of these things now because it's gotten so bad. Nothing has ever helped with my anxiety even a little bit. Nothing. I have had derealisation for almost 6 years now. Imagine the world around you not feeling real for 6 years.

A Bit of Hope for You
Well, after about 2 months of therapy sessions, reading Claire Weekes' book, lots of
meditation
and mindfulness, and tons of CBT exercises, yesterday felt...a bit better. Not perfect by any means! I still feel flashes of all my most dreaded symptoms quite frequently.

Gorging on cake
bottle of wine and stuffed myself with chocolate eclairs.Felt a bit sick afterwards Now Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent and I am going to use these forty days to get my life under control. And one way of doing that will be mindful eating.Today will be a day of fasting and( if I can manage it) periods of
