The pounds just keep creeping on.So for Mardi Gras yesterday I finished off a bottle of wine and stuffed myself with chocolate eclairs.Felt a bit sick afterwards Now Ash Wednesday,the start of Lent and I am going to use these forty days to get my life under control.And one way of doing that will be mindful eating.Today will be a day of fasting and( if I can manage it) periods of meditation
I might not succeed but I will try.Wish me luck.

Fasting isn’t for everyone, in my opinion, eating healthily and keeping a close eye on portions is key to success. By healthily I mean a balanced diet including all the essential food groups, some good healthy fats and minimal processed foods and sugary snacks.
