How to find if endo has grown elsewhere in the body
I have diagnosed endometriosis, it was found on my ovaries during a
laparoscopy
. I am on a waiting list for a second
laparoscopy
. But my concern is they will not look if endometriosis has grown elsewhere.

Diagnostic Laparoscopy
On Friday 13th (now considered the luckiest day in my life) I went for my
laparoscopy
and they found A LOT (surgeon’s words) of endometriosis which they managed to get out.

laparoscopy
Hi, I had a
laparoscopy
a couple of days ago and they told me they found a few patches of endo on back of my uterus & my fallopian tube is blocked. The surgeon didn’t give much info on this he just said he’s referring me to a fertility specialist.

Laparoscopy
I was offered
laparoscopy
or going back on the pill. Yesterday I was like yup having the surgery. Now I’m like is it worth trying the pill or have the surgery? As I am thinking being 35 is it just my hormones going through another change in life or what. Any advice will be much appreciated 🤗

3rd laparoscopy
Hi all, I'm currently in bed recovering from my 3rd
laparoscopy
(2nd one being in 2012). I found out my left ovary was stuck to my ureteral sacral ligament and side wall which they mobilised, and that I had nodular endometriosis on both uterosacral ligaments which was vaporised.

Advice after laparoscopy
After my
laparoscopy
on Wednesday which showed no signs of endometriosis I have decided to book an appointment with a specialist. I want to get a second opinion on what might be causing my symptoms.

Laparoscopy Went Well
Hello everyone, Some of you may be aware that I went into hospital yesterday for a hysteroscopy, a
laparoscopy
and the removal of a small uterine polyp. I thought it might be helpful to just explain how I chose to manage my steroids over this period of time.

endo diagnosis, post laparoscopy
hi everyone, Before my
laparoscopy
, like many of us, i was severely scared they wouldn’t find anything because of the doubting doctors but fast forward post
laparoscopy
and a diagnosis of stage 2/3 with successful excision complete. Recovery is very tough but hopefully worth it.

Laparoscopy wait time
Hi everyone! Just wondering if anyone knows roughly what the wait time for a lap is? I had my first gynae specialist appointment the other day and they are putting me on the waiting list, might be a bit of a stupid question as i’m sure it’s different for different areas of the UK, but if anyone could

Please help
Following the
laparoscopy
, I was provided a discharge letter which stated I had adhesions of ascending colon to side wall which it states adhesiolysis to ascending colon was undertaken. However, it stated no evidence of endometriosis seen at
laparoscopy

Laparoscopy tomorrow!
I finally have my
laparoscopy
tomorrow after it being cancelled two months ago. Does anyone have any last minute tips or tricks for pre and post surgery? And can anyone explain a little bit more about what happens when you get to the hospital and the process after that?

Mirena trial or straight to laparoscopy?
Assuming a lot of people have trialled the pill/coil and then still ended up going for a
laparoscopy
? And did you still have endo flares? Thanks!

Had my Laparoscopy yesterday
I had my laporoscopy yesterday and they found endometriosis scattered everywhere. I feel so much relief from having answers for my symptoms but obviously it's bittersweet as now I have to come to terms with having this condition. This community has really pulled me through this journey and allowed myself

Menstrual Cycle/Laparoscopy timing
I am due for my
laparoscopy
for an endo diagnosis next week. I’m just curious if it makes a difference at what point in your cycle your at as to whether your condition is more noticeable/diagnosable.

Laparoscopy with amenorrhea
Hello - I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure something out about my
laparoscopy
. I have my first surgery to diagnose endometriosis in July after being referred last year for extreme pain during bleeds. My worry is that I haven't had a period since last September.
