Hello I’ve posted about my left knee previously, as I ended up in A&E earlier this year. HI, I’m due to have a laparoscopy on Wednesday to see if I have endometriosis. I was just wondering if having a tilted uterus makes any difference in them finding endo? I have constant pain in my lower back, pain when going to the toilet and sometimes blood in stools.

hi. Has anyone been prescribed dienogest to help with endometriosis. I’ve had lap and they burned it away but I am still in pain. So I have now been prescribed dienogest. Just wondering if anyone has any positive / negative feedback?

I still have not had a laparoscopy and I dont understand why they wont give me one. I am in constant pain most days , I get maybe 1 day in the week I am not in pain. It is sharp, twisting constant pain in my lower stomach. It now radiates across my hips and down my legs.

Also, I am not happy in the slightest with the gynaecologist who carried out my laparoscopy. He wasn’t an endometriosis specialist as I’ve read up and saw that that can make a difference in the diagnose. Thanks😊

I had a laparoscopy almost 4 weeks ago and I am just wondering how long others waited to have a bath? I am so desperate for one but was told to keep my wounds clean and dry and that submerging could be a bad idea. Is this until the scabs have totally cleared up mostly healed?

Can an MRI diagnose or does it have to be Laparoscopy? Would anything show up on internal ultrasound? thanks

I am going in for my first lap on Tuesday and I do not know what to expect. Do they just go in and see if I have endometriosis and that’s it, or will they remove it that day if possible? Also what was your recovery time like for your first lap? Thanks😊

My laparoscopy is next month and I think it’s going to fall at the same time as my period. Can surgery still go ahead even if you’re on your period? Does it make it any more uncomfortable or complicated? Thanks in advance xx

She had a laparoscopy which diagnosed this condition. During the laparoscopy they saw that the endometriosis was also growing around the bowel. Has anyone else had this. So today she was discharged from hospital after spending the night as she in theatre for 3 hours having her hysterectomy.

Hello, I had a laparoscopy back in 2014 for endometriosis after suffering symptoms for most of my adult life. I am now 52 and going throught the menopause. I am on oestrogen patches and take Utrogestan tablets for half of the month as I still have my womb and ovaries.

Hi all, I had a laparoscopy three weeks ago. They excised a small amount of endo and found a lot of scar tissue and lesions which they didn’t touch. Recovery seemed to be straight forward for the first week or so, pain levels have been very low.
