hello, I’m day 4 post laparoscopic resection of endometriosis and I’m having alot of dense pain and scapular aching. I’ve been pottering as much as I can and drinking peppermint tea but I wondered if anyone had any tips as usually I’d just do some yoga and it’d right itself. I know wind pain is normal

I’ve just had a laparoscopy to rule out gynae issue causing bloating and gastric symptoms along with heavy periods and significant pain. No endometriosis found, just a fibroid so hormones being blamed for majority of it.

i had a laparoscopy 6 monthsa go. My left ovary had to be removed as it was demolished my a 6cm chocolate cyst. Other bits had to be unstuck from each other. I had the coil fitted at the same time.... It was meant to stop My periods and the pain.

. 4, I have to go on the mirena coil and only once I have lost weight she will then perform an ablation called novasure and then she may also perform a laparoscopy.

I had a laparoscopy for removal of endometriosis at the beginning of June this year , I was on zoladex for 3 months before this and had the marina coil (this got taken out during the laparoscopy) Basically I have not had a period and there is no way that I could be pregnant.

After pushing GP and getting an gyne appointment in April 2022 the consultant diagnoses Endo, middle of June I had a laparoscopy where they removed Endo tissue from various places and unstuck an ovary etc.

I’ve got endo and adeno and I can’t work out whether the pain I have is from endo or adeno - I didn’t expect the laparoscopy to be a quick fix or to cure me, I’m not that naive but I had hoped for more than 1 month pain free. My sciatica seems to have got worse.

6 weeks ago I had a laparoscopy to investigate pelvic pain that was believed to be endometriosis. A small amount of endo tissue was found on the pouch of Douglas but was not removed.

I’m just looking to hear from any of you who have had a Diagnostic Laparoscopy which hasn’t shown Endometriosis. what happened next? Did you have further tests. Did it turn out to be something else? I’m still waiting for my Lap but I’m so nervous they are not going to find anything.

I had a laparoscopy in 2013 ,everything was very healthy, no concerns regarding fertility. I later had fertility treatment, unfortunately I lost baby early on.

Hi guys, I have my laparoscopy next week. The surgeon hasn't provided any details on how he will treat the endometrioses or adhesions if he finds them and I have recently read how much it can vary.

So, I had a laparoscopy last September through private care as I was in too much pain to wait for it on the NHS. In April/May this year, the symptoms came back even worse, and at the end of August I had to take a week off work as I was taken to A&E by my parents.

I've just had my first laparoscopy and whilst nothing was found/removed they said they could see evidence of healed lesions. I was just out of surgery so I can't fully remember what was said, but it was to do with a wall somewhere being too thin.

I had my laparoscopy and they removed endo around my pelvis (uterus tubes and ovaries clear where clear of endo). My last two periods since op have been on time but this one is about four days late now. GP doesn’t seem interested and pregnancy test this morning was negative.

It was a diagnostic laparoscopy. I had Endometriosis in my diaphragm, bowel, left tube, left ovary, chocolate cyst on left ovary, cyst on right ovary. Alot of my left side was stuck together. My sigamoid was where my left ovary/ tube should be. My left ovary was hidden under my bowel.

My question really is - Has someone had a scan and showed them nothing but they later found out they do have endo through a endometriosis laparoscopy??

I also noticed that all my paperwork before the surgery said ‘diagnostic laparoscopy’, but after the surgery said ‘laparoscopy with ovarian cyst removal + biopsies’. Am I right in thinking they have found something? Or could they have taken biopsies even if they didn’t find any endo?

I was diagnosed with endo after an emergency laparotomy 10 years ago and have had a laparoscopy to remove cysts 8 years ago too. I’m very aware I’ll probably need another surgery but all this waiting is so depressing, my belly is so bloated.

I said I still have a dull period pain now in my stomach and back and he said well yes when you have a period after a laparoscopy this happens, to which I reminded him that I don’t have periods due to the pain and go straight through with my cerelle.
