I had a laparoscopy and they found endometriosis around the canal so fairly distant from these organs. Should I be concerned that they didn’t find it all or is there potential that I get IBS symptoms without anything to worry about?

I had the Laparoscopy in December 2021 which was negative. (other than some cervical erosion apparently) Due to cancellations, I had to wait 6-7 months for my follow up which took place last week. (During this time, i had a colonoscopy to rule out any bowel issues - this was normal).

I queried this with the gynaecologist and was told that I would need a laparoscopy as a MRI wouldn’t have diagnosed this type 🙄 this from a gynaecologist who said I didn’t have the symptoms of it and couldn’t have it.

Would I be justified in insisting I have a laparoscopy?
