Bunny Rabbits, Eggs and lots of Deer.
Just before Covid, I had entered a 5k Easter run at Chasewater, a venue just around the corner from my in-laws. All plans of a weekend running with a family Sunday lunch to follow, were lost to Covid restrictions and I ran the 5k as a virtual run at home. This Easter Sunday I woke up in my SIL’s house

hysterectomy
hi I’m due to have a laparoscopic hysterectomy next month. just wanted other ladies opinions on how long I will be off work. I know it does depend on what work you do so I work as a lifeguard in a leisure centre so am worried about going back too soon as I will always have to be ready to act on any

My first post: diagnostic laparoscopy didn't find anything but the horrible pain is still there
I finally had a diagnostic
laparoscopy
and apparently no endometriosis was found. They strongly suggested to have the Mirena coil fitted again. Now, I had the
laparoscopy
on the 16/11, I’ve been spotting since the 26th and bleeding since the 29th.

Help… too young for lap
I was really upset and voiced in my apt that I need to know what is causing this issue, rather than just masking and wanted a
laparoscopy
but she said I am too young and it comes with risks when the coil can just help the symptoms.

can’t have surgery until lost weight?
I’m having to have a diagnostic
laparoscopy
. I’ve had to switch consultants and was asked by waiting lists my height and weight and was told depending on my BMI the surgeon might not do it. I’m currently on the Depo and I feel it makes me gain weight easily.

Seeking Advice on Pill Side Effects with Endometriosis
Given the lack of anything else under x-ray and ultrasound, both the staff at the hospital and the GPs I've spoken to are suspecting endometrosis and I'm on the waiting list for gyno (and likely a
laparoscopy
).

1.5 years post lap
Hi everyone,I had my first diagnostic
laparoscopy
1 year and 6 months ago. They found Endometriosis and removed it. After the lap, my periods were more manageable, I was actually able to leave the house during my periods, something I'd not been able to do for soooo long!

6 weeks post op and still really sore?
Has anybody been in this position? My stomach is tender to touch and sore. This is my second lap and I am so surprised at the difference between my first and the last. The only surgery difference I can tell from my notes is my bladder was involved this time.I had 5 keyholes, my bellybutton one was big

3 weeks post lap
I had a
laparoscopy
3 weeks ago. They described the surgery as significant abdominal surgery. The surgeon said you could barely see my pelvis through the vast amount of adhesions which were sticking my bowel, bladder, uterus and ovaries together.

Just popping in with Easter Greetings!
All, I haven't had much chance to look at the forum lately so thought I'd pop in now and wish everyone a Happy Easter! Things have been busy - mostly in a good way but also had two funerals (one expected and one sudden death of a young man well known to our family), and several short notice hospital

Surgery booked but worried
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been booked in for my first diagnostic
laparoscopy
in two weeks time. I’m so glad it’s finally getting done as I’ve been suffering for 8 years with bad periods and pelvic pain. However, I’m just so so scared they are not going to find anything.

Understanding the source of my pain.
Hi everyone, I'm having difficulty assessing the source of my pain and am seeking clarification from anyone who can help. First, the good news: As of yesterday and today, most of my pain is gone. It's been nine days since I raised my prednisone from 20mg to 25mg. I had been worried that 25mg was not

Some hope!
I had a
laparoscopy
which made a big difference to the pain and after 18 months of trying, fell pregnant naturally. Fast forward a few years, I have a beautiful son and barely any symptoms. What can make my endo flare? definitely diet. Sugar and alcohol predominantly.

So many questions regards diagnostic laparoscopy
Hello lovely people,I had an appointment with the Endo doctor last week and she suggested going for a diagnostic
laparoscopy
as she suspects I have superficial endometriosis as my ultrasounds were showing only hydrosalpinx that don't justify my symptoms.

is fibrotic adhesion related to endo or surgery or both
got my mri results and had a lap in november 2022 where endo nodule was found on the utersacral ligament and superficial endo in left side of POD. Had a mri and it shows fibrotic adhesion between the uterus and sigmoid right side and left ovary could be adherent to uterus. However it states at the end

Finally received Endo diagnosis following laparoscopy... advice/support for next steps please!
Hi Everyone, I had investigative
laparoscopy
surgery back in October this year. I finally had my endometriosis diagnosed (it's only taken 18 years, for someone to truly listen), it was removed along with scarring and I had a mirena coil fitted.

No period and negative tests
Hi Guys, After 10 long years, 3 years ago I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had a
laparoscopy
not long after. In a follow up appointment I was told I should start think about having children soon if I wanted them.

Finally someone has listened!
So he has booked me for a
laparoscopy
and MRI scan. I am just so happy someone has listened to me after all these years. I am having to have so much time off work due to a lot of bowel problems and so much pain. Is anyone in the same position with work?

'Completely normal' laparoscopy, could I still have endo?
I had a diagnostic
laparoscopy
done at the beginning of April as a Gynecological Consultant suspected endo. My surgery was done by a general gynaecologist, and her findings were "no abnormality seen or gynae pathology".
