On Friday 13th (now considered the luckiest day in my life) I went for my laparoscopy and they found A LOT (surgeon’s words) of endometriosis which they managed to get out. There is still some in there that they couldn’t get to (too close to my bowel) but this is a test to see if what they’ve taken is causing me the issue and we will cross that bridge if it comes to it.
I am currently the size of a 6 month pregnant lady, covered in bandage, glue and I ache a lot but oh my god can you imagine if it works?
The longest waiting game of my life turned into a quick few days after my pre-op and may just have changed my life.
2 weeks of staying home, watching Netflix and not using anything heavy and hopefully, a normal 26 year old will be made.
I am so happy, even if the bit that remains is the culprit, I’m one step closer to being “normal”.
I do not want to think about having to take the bandage off tomorrow (I do not like medical stuff…)

We are all celebrating for you! Getting that diagnosis can be the biggest relief and hopefully with recovery it could make a huge difference. It's the little wins that get you through and this is a BIG win!!!
Congrats. I'm glad the surgery gave you answers and hope everything settles down quickly for you. It can take a few weeks to calm down. Fingers crossed you feel better going forwards x
