THEY FOUND ITTTTTT!

On Friday 13th (now considered the luckiest day in my life) I went for my laparoscopy and they found A LOT (surgeon’s words) of endometriosis which they managed to get out. There is still some in there that they couldn’t get to (too close to my bowel) but this is a test to see if what they’ve taken is causing me the issue and we will cross that bridge if it comes to it.

I am currently the size of a 6 month pregnant lady, covered in bandage, glue and I ache a lot but oh my god can you imagine if it works?

The longest waiting game of my life turned into a quick few days after my pre-op and may just have changed my life.

2 weeks of staying home, watching Netflix and not using anything heavy and hopefully, a normal 26 year old will be made.

I am so happy, even if the bit that remains is the culprit, I’m one step closer to being “normal”.

I do not want to think about having to take the bandage off tomorrow (I do not like medical stuff…)

I’m so glad they found it, I know getting a diagnosis of endometriosis is so difficult to get, and the wait which is usually years is unbearable .

I realise I am one of the “lucky” ( if you can call it that) ones, as I have also been diagnosed.

I hope you get some much needed relief, you obviously deserve it x

That’s so kind of you!

It has been years of not knowing and the last year of constant pain has been the icing on the cake but we made it!

Even if this doesn’t work straight away, I’m just so happy it’s finally got a name. Xx

Thank you so much. I’m still hurting quite a bit but it’s only been 5 days so slow and steady wins the race (I hope)

All the best xx
