Advice Welcome.
I have been advised I have two options, I can either have a
laparoscopy
(she advised that 50% of the time they find no evidence when carrying these out) or I can change my contraception to the Marina Coil.

Worried about Laproscopy
After a slightly frustrating appointment with my gynae consultant I am quite apprehensive about undergoing a
laparoscopy
by someone who isn’t an endo specialist as I’ve heard endo often isn’t found by those who are specialists.

Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy D&C polypectomy - Help!
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has had the above procedures and whether this helped them get pregnant either naturally or through IVF? My gynaecologist has recommended the above but I’m worried it could make getting pregnant more difficult. Any success stories?? Thank you! x x

First period after laparoscopy
I had a
laparoscopy
2 weeks ago for stage 3 endo removal and cyst removal. I am currently on my first period. I had read lots of stories of it being worse, awful pain, heavy bleeding etc.

Hi All, I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy in July and all healed well - very happy. Then the past few days the incision in my belly button has started hurting, I have a swollen belly and it feels like a UTI then I have some bleeding from my belly button and it has a red mark around it. It looks

is everyone else not getting diagnosed or much treatment?
He said the waiting list for a
laparoscopy
to check for endometriosis, is several years and he wouldn’t put me on the waiting list cause I have to see if birth control works first. I feel a bit like nothing is really being done.

Pelvic Congestion Syndrome
Hi, I had my diagnostic laproscopy 3 days ago. There was no endometriosis, butvthey did diagnose me with pelvic congestion syndrome, as my blood vessels were all enlarged. Pain return and spotting
Hi I was first diagnosed with endometriosis 9 years ago to which I had
laparoscopy
and then the Mirena fitted. I seem to have been able to manage my symptoms over the last 9 years between being pregnant and the coil.

Should I reduce my desogestrel dose?
The surgery is a hysteroscopy with potential
laparoscopy
- I was on a waiting list for the hysteroscopy before and went in for the procedure to be told I don't need it. Then to go back for a follow up to be told I do need it again and go back on the waiting list.

personal update
from my previous posts , you will see I have been suffering from recurrent episodes of billaty colic / cholecystitis/ cholangitis . Have been in hospital for 6 weeks , reverse barrier nursed as I became neutropenic as a result haematologist suggests as a result of chronic gallbladder infection . Gallbladder
