I have diagnosed endometriosis, it was found on my ovaries during a laparoscopy.
I am on a waiting list for a second laparoscopy. But my concern is they will not look if endometriosis has grown elsewhere.
To those who have been diagnosed with endo growth else where in the body, how did they find it?
was it further investigation/ a different procedure or just done during the laparoscopy?

I had lap surgery in jan which confirmed endo but then 6 weeks later i had a mri that found other stuff. I would suggest asking for a mri to put your mind at ease. Its the best way and can find deep endo
Mine was just found during my laparoscopy, the surgeon saw it was all over my bowel and appendix too when he was removing it from my ovaries. But as the other post suggests, definitely request a scan if you are concerned.

What do you think of prostap and would you take it?
I have been offered it as a last resort, after my second laparoscopy they don’t really want to continue with surgeries so they have offered me the injections but the side affects are scary
No I've never tried Prostrap! It was suggested to me as part of IVF treatment but I had surgery and used the pill instead to control the endo and that worked so I never considered it. It lasts for a month up to a few months I think so I think I'd want assurances that it would really help my symptoms before taking it just because it's so long lasting.
