symptoms persisting after laparoscopy.
I had a
laparoscopy
in November 2023, some endometriosis was burned away. Following recovery from the post-op pain etc, I felt that my symptoms had mainly resolved and was so glad.

Pre laparoscopy
Hi I am due to have my first lap next Friday and I am wondering if anyone had an ultrasound that didn't show endo but it was found during their
laparoscopy
? I am so worried that they are not going to find anything as nothing was seen during my ultrasound.

irregular bleeding post laparoscopy
Hi everyone. Just wondering what everyone’s periods/bleeding after op was like? I’m just over 6 weeks post op after endo removal on both ovaries & left pod. Surgeon said it was stage 2 endo. Everything else was fine. Tubes good, etc. I have had irregular bleeding for the last 2 weeks & awful cramps.

Is an mri more accurate for Adenomyosis than a laparoscopy?
I've had a
laparoscopy
in August, that showed probable Adenomyosis. My consultant wanted me to have an mri for more information, as I was diagnosed by ultrasound with a large fibroid. Will the mri show more than the
laparoscopy
? I've had it this week. Thank you xx

Laparoscopy clear - what now?
I had my
laparoscopy
around 2 weeks ago on the 20th March. It was an uncomplicated procedure and I was found to have a normal pelvis with no evidence of endometriosis. Obviously I am so relieved to be told this. However, they said they couldn’t find any other cause for my pain.

Week till my laparoscopy!!
Been waiting 13years for this
laparoscopy
and I'm hoping it all goes ahead next week.I've had to fight so hard for the surgery and now at my pre operation, there was a problem with my blood pressure being too high. Anyone have issues with blood pressure and endometriosis??

painful cramping when urinating
I had a diagnostic
laparoscopy
a week ago and I keep experiencing pain in my bladder and sharp cramping when trying to wee. Is this a normal thing for after surgery? This is my op so I’m just unsure.

Tummy pain after laparoscopy
how long the pelvic pain lasts or lasted for anyone who’s had a
laparoscopy
? I still have pain across the middle of my tummy & particularly on my left side. It’s still uncomfortable getting up & down, but I can feel pressure pain all the time.

Can I have sex before a laparoscopy
Hi, I am having my
laparoscopy
on Tuesday and was wondering if anyone knew about being able to have sex before surgery? Is there a certain amount of time before that I should stop? Any answers for this would be amazing.

Rib pain after surgery
Hi, I had a
laparoscopy
two days ago and I've been getting a pain when I lie down in my right collar bone and right lower side ribs. It gets worse when I breath deeply. Did anyone else have this, or know the cause? Is it just the gas they put in?

Healing time for belly button incision (lap) and weeping
Hi, just wondering how long the belly button incision should take to heal following a
laparoscopy
? And what is 'normal'. The belly button incision seems to be taking the longest to heal compared to the other incisions. And there is some foul smelling weeping (mild).

Dr Cameron Martin Edinburgh Spire - anyone had surgery with Dr Martin?
Hi I’m looking into seeing Dr Cameron Martin at Edinburgh spire for my first
laparoscopy
and wondered if anyone has any reviews they can share with me to help me make my decision. He seems nice from our initial chat via email but I need to make the right decision as surgery is a big deal for me.
