Hello all. I'm a week late joining the diet. I need to lose 2 stone initially so I am less likely to be refused referral for a knee replacement. Good luck to everyone in their quest to lose weight. We can do it!

Total Knee Replacement
I have had both GCA and PMR for nearly 8 years. I now need a total knee replacement and was told by the surgeon: "Replacement hip surgery is more successful than replacement knee surgery. You won't be able to run, jump, kneel down or squat but if your pain level is eight out of ten at the moment it should

Knee replacement causing problems
I had my left knee replace 3 years ago & it is still causing me a lot of problems, I'm still unable to walk properly on it. I had my other knee replaced 10 years a go which has been successful so I know what to expect. Although I do have other health issues as well. I have great movement in the knee

day 11 and counting and struggling a bit... at home
Hi everyone, Chanced upon this group when I was looking for some help and the different posts have been great. Thank you all. So after a decade of smoking, I decided to quit. Mainly because I was going for knee surgery and couldn't smoke in the hospital, so figured I'd try and see if I can quit. Back

Newbie stupid questions
I'm 52 and have never run, ever, even for a bus. I had knee surgery in my teens which has provided a plausible excuse my whole life. So I'd be grateful for answers to what may seem (to normal people) like some very stupid questions about this programme. 1) how do you know when you're ready to go on

Knee Surgery and lymphedema and other
I have mild lymphedema and lupus. I take a shot once a month of depo medrol for my pain and have found that it takes down the swelling in my legs. If I go over my month it starts swelling again. I also have a condition called Lipodermatosclerosis where the skin hardens around my ankles and now is starting

Just had the worst week of my life!
Hi all. I'm pretty new here, I joined a couple of months ago and I have posted once or twice but never actually introduced myself properly. I’m 60 and I have ha PA since I was 22. Within the first few months of diagnosis I got the district nurse to train me to self-inject. I was on monthly injections
