Exercise
Been seeing a lot of posts to do with exercise and for those of us that can't it doesn't mean you can't lose weight if it isn't in your weight loss plan. I can't walk more that a few paces without pain and use a mobility scooter to get around. Stairs are impossible, so swimming, running, walking and

Help newly diagnosed Hashimoto's is taking the life out of me :(
For almost 4 years, I felt myself changing, major brain clog, fatigue, severe chronic body pain, anxiety and just so darn lethargic, in addition to memory loss. This is NOT who I am by any means. I related it all to early onset peri-menopause which started at 41 Although, I have severe arthritis

Nocturnal seizures & hypothyroidism
Hi does anyone on this site who has hypothyroidism know if this is linked to nocturnal seizures - I started to have them 18 months ago - was also diagnosed with sleep apnea & more recently asthma - it seems it might be something to do with oxygen saturation - but I've read it could be linked to thryoid

Replacement limbs & rls?
My rls started after I had a hip replacement. My surgeon assures me there's no connection. Is there any evidence or research on this?

I keep reading stories about pip and I'm terrified that I will not receive anything. I was awarded higher rate DLA when I was 17, I now use my award against motability for my car this enables me to get to work, I work 21 hours a week but would never make the journey by bus as it would be too much, I

Bristol hep C drug helps cure 97 pct of HIV coinfected patients-study
Ninety-seven percent of hepatitis C patients also infected with HIV were cured of the liver-destroying virus after 12 weeks of treatment with Bristol-Myers Squibb's daclatasvir and Gilead Sciences' Sovaldi, according to data from a study presented. The results could help put Bristol's hepatitis C program

Alendronic acid and tooth extraxion
I have been taking this drug for 4 1/2 years, and have a reoccurring tooth abscess, which has just flared again. My dentist now wants to send me to hospital to have the tooth out, as just having had a total hip replacement there is concern over the infection travelling to my hip. Has anyone out there

Treatment
Hi Ive just been reading an old post from Marian62 when she asks if she should be having a check-up as she is in permanent af but has no symptoms she is aware of, but does have a quick check by her GP. My husband who is in exactly the same position and has been for the last 6 years. He takes Bisoprolol

Freaking out about HIV!!
Hi, this is not something I ever thought I'd be asking but I really need help. About 2 weeks ago I ended up at a party, I was drinking and remember virtually nothing (think I had my drink spiked because this is so unlike me) but I keep having flash backs of him starting to have sex with me (I don't know

Broken hip
Broken hip On the 18th October I slipped on decking landed on my hip and broke my hip. I am 56 years old , have lupus , aps and raynauds and have never broken a bone before. I was shocked to be told I would need a total hip replacement. The recovery has felt very slow and as you can imagine having lupus
