Ablation and hip surgery
I had a total hip replacement in May woke up on A Fib. Had an ablation at the end of June and woke up with pneumonia. I am 3 weeks out and still get extremely tired. Is this normal? When can I expect to feel "normal"?

unsure of test
So I had unprotected sex recently. I freaked out as he was a drug user. According to him he tests every 3 months for his program. I did a home HIV test negative. I have had a cold and so I decided to take a responsible approach and get tested again at a doctors. I did every STD test and everything came

Hip arthritis and replacement
I am writing for any support/help that might be out there. I broke my hip 5 years ago and had a pin inserted. This failed and I had another about six months later. Two years ago I couldn't walk upright, had physio, a screw replaced and now had the whole thing removed. I am now on another waiting list

RLS MEDICATIONS THAT WORK 100% FOR ME
I have suffered from chronic RLS since childhood. I am 64 years old and until I was diagnosed at 48 thought I was the only person in the entire world that had this affliction. At 52 the disease moved thru my entire body.Medications that work for me 100% are the following; MADOPAR: Completely stops pain

Perhaps a little tongue in cheek; I can't help but notice that when Noel Fitzpatrick performs a knee or hip replacement , his patients are usually up within a matter of days and very often running within weeks. I know the physiology is different but it makes me wonder. Maybe Noel is the man to see

Just had second ablation
I am two days postop and feel really good. My a fib ablation, was about five hours the doctor found some scar tissue on my left ventricle and that seemed to be the cause of the problem causing the arrhythmia No clue how the scar tissue got there being it was the first time anybody has ventured into

Lactulose or Movicol?
I know this has been written about before, but which is best for Ibs c? I was put off lactulose before so have never tried it, as it apparently causes bad gas and pain (not sure if it contains lactose too), but now another doctor has suggested trying it. I use laxido (movicol), but not constantly.

Feeling down
Hi everyone Had a really bad night with pain last night, got up with the birds, staggered around for a couple hours trying to clear up etc, nearly fell over then just gave up and cried my eyes out. I am now back in bed where I am the most comfortable Because I suffer with osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia

Getting my mojo back.
A week or so back I was over the moon, couldn't wait to share my success, - my running app showed I'ld run 5k in under 30 minutes. Amazing but what I was aiming for - surely. Then down to earth with a bang. Flicking through the run stats I apparently did 1 of the k's in about 4 minutes -no way. Zooming

Hip replacement surgery
I am having a hip replaced on Thursday and wondered if anyone knew of evidence that a general anaesthetic might cause af to return. At present I am in sinus taking 2.5 mg of bisoprolol daily to prevent my pulse rate going too high and triggering af to return. I am also due for a lower limb nerve blocker
