Weaning off Lorazepam, any ideas?
Was given Lorazapan to take and foolishly didn't check and it is additive, so I am trying to wean myself off it after 7 months. I should have used it sparingly, only when needed, anyway have had 5 bad nights, fighting to sleep and then getting around 4 hours. I could make do with 4-5 hours before my

Sharing what have worked for us
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I posted - we have been going through a lot of ups and downs, especially with my son’s educational environment. After being “kicked out” (getting our district transfer revoked) of a public school last month and not knowing what to do to go on any longer, I came across

Quit smoking 2 days ago
Hi all, I found out I am pregnant 2 days ago and stopped smoking immediately (I don’t know how many weeks I am yet). With all the hormones and withdrawal from nicotine it’s so hard. It sounds silly, but I can’t stop crying and feel so sensitive. Does anyone have any tips to help? I booked in for hypnotherapy

Hydrotherapy and exercise
Seldom do we have posts on
hydrotherapy
here. Liz used to have one to one
hydrotherapy
with a neuro-physiotherapist. Her lack of balance was not an issue in the water. She was able to do exercises and swim and the resistance of the water gave her a good work out.

Stop searching for relief from Anxiety and recovery will come to you.
When I unwittingly developed my anxiety disorder, I just wanted to relax. I craved relaxation and did all manner of things to try and achieve it and to stop feeling extreme discomfort all day, every day with no respite (except when I managed to sleep). I tried hypnotherapy, I tried meditation, I tried

Always welcome your thoughts
Dear empathetic friends I am so glad am on here as I have realised I am not going mental. So many posts relate to my experience. It’s very hard as each day is variable and some days just have to keep going...sleeping is tough waking early ...I pray of the light that this will get better and any reassuring

Sleeping....Well not sleeping
Hi all, I recently got diagnosed with FND after a few years of constant unexplained pains, passing out and falls. I finally got diagnosed with it after i was rushed into hospital with a suspected trapped nerve. Taking tablets for pain relief and setraline that's become part of my day to day life. Now

Self-hypnosis audios
I decided to try self-hypnosis audios to deal with my obsessive thoughts. I chose Hypnosis Downloads, and the speaker on the audio I bought is Roger Elliot. (He has a soothing voice and a beautiful Scots accent!) Has anybody ever tried self-hypnosis? If so, what was your experience like?
