What’s everyone’s favorite way to relieve stress on a daily basis?
I have been using a anxiety hypnosis album I downloaded from iTunes by Amy applebaum. I love it, but unless you have about 45 minutes to lose yourself, it’s kind of impossible to do until you’re home. Does anyone have something they can suggest when work ( or any stressful situation) is starting to

Here are a few suggestions that work for me in no particular order. They are all natural, cost free and have only positive side effects. - avoid or greatly reduce stimulants / depressants like sugar and caffiein and alcohol - excercise. even if it's as simple as walking. Get blood and oxygen

Good Morning, Does anyone else listen to relaxing or hypnosis recordings to help them sleep? I’ve found them to be a great help in drifting off stopping my brain from overthinking. They don’t keep me asleep but I do feel better in a morning when I wake as I don’t lay getting agitated with thoughts.

Is crying connected to ADHD?
I don't know if this has anything to do with ADHD or not. I've never read anything linking it but does anyone else have a hard time controlling emotions, especially crying. I can be talking to someone about something that isn't even really sad and I start tearing up. This can be so embarrassing.

I would like to recommend a great book 🙂
Last week I purchased a great book. It’s called Take Control of Your IBS by Prof Peter Whorwell. He is one of the UK’s leading IBS gastroenterologists and sees the patients the rest of the NHS can’t do anything with. I found the book to be so easy to read and written in layman’s terms. As someone who

On way... as long as flights go
So after my wobble at the beginning of the week, after grainy scan in the UK, tomorrow we will hopefully be winging our way to Spain. They want to do their own scan on Monday to check if there is actually a hydrosalpinx or not. Hopefully (for no delays) all is well which will mean transfer on Tuesday

An update
I ended up quitting my job that very first day. the symptoms were too great for me to handle but I made it through almost half a day. I was, and still am, extremely discouraged with myself but I will continue trying to find a job that will be better suited for me and my situation.. I've been pushing

Painful gas from shoulders to lower back
I have a mild form of IBS, probably D with a little C, and am working on my diet and hypnotherapy, but this week I've been getting painful gas from my shoulders through my lower back (it would be scary if I didn't know if had something to do with IBS). I'm just wondering if other people experience this

8-year old finally dry!!!
Hi, after years of trying everything - even mild hypnosis - my 8-year old daughter is finally dry at night thanks to a bed alarm!! I'm not sure if it's a combination of the alarm following the hypnosis pre-Christmas, but it's a miracle and so I wanted to share in case it helps anyone. I bought the

Does anyone think their IBS is caused by stress/anxiety?
Just that really! I’ve been an anxious person most of my life and have had IBS symptoms for almost 18 years. Although I am really careful with my diet (doing low fodmap), careful not to eat my trigger foods, exercise, don’t smoke, don’t drink (boring old sod!), try to relax and listen to a hypnotherapy

Wonders of hypnotherapy
4 years ago I decided to try hypnotherapy to alleviate my anxiety and it failed miserably,so I gave it up after a month of trying. I’m giving it another try, this time with a different therapist and oh my lord it is amazing 😉. My anxiety levels have reduced since I started a week and half ago by 25
