Hydrotherapy

Just wondered has anyone used hydrotherapy as a movement enhancer or to help with pain. My husbands mobility is pretty good at the moment and was thinking of this. He also enjoys swimming. Just wondered if anyone has tried this and seen/felt any benefits from it?

I'm lucky enough to be going on a cruise, as I can't fly now as it causes too much pain, and there is a hydrotherapy pool which I can pay for. Do any of you have any opinions after using this type of pool? I'm thinking of using it the day after travelling to the ship.

I have Hydrotherapy twice a week to build strength up in my legs but it’s a very slow process. What I’d like to ask is; is there ever going to be light at the end of the tunnel ? Has anyone else also been on steroids for this amount of time ?

I am prescribed morphine, no physiotherapy, no hydrotherapy, nothing. I hate taking really strong meds, it makes things tempting. I feel like the GP's and medical professionals want me dead, to go away and take an overdose, and that they just want the problem (me) to go away.

I joined a gym and use the pool rehab lane for hydrotherapy (walking and other movements) and their sauna. I do this 1-2 x a week.
