how to control my OCD
Have you done ERP before? I have certainly heard many people in recovery say that it is important to keep challenging yourself and not avoiding situations that make you uncomfortable when you are doing better. If you haven’t done ERP before, it would be worth finding a therapist that can help you. I don’t think that many psychiatrists have time to do this therapy as they are mostly busy dealing with prescriptions.
If you feel that you have a good handle on the OCD components but just want a push to get yourself going in the right direction, I would look at an ACT resource like A Liberated Mind or Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Life. There are some really good interviews with Steven Hayes on various podcasts, both on ACT in general and some on OCD specifically.
