Vitamin B
I am confused. I have been taking a super B complex as recommended but now am reading that B6 preve B is the absorbance of levidopa. Can someone please clarify. Thank you.

B vits pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6)
What B vitamins do people take and what brands have pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) in? What else do people take other than potassium rich diet and B vitamins and what form do you take folic acid in? I've heard it should be folate as folic acid isn't very good? Thanks

Yes, You CAN have the Shingles Vaccine
Hi Everyone, I'm writing this just in case there is anyone out there who thinks they can't have the shingles vaccine because they are on pred. I believed this and refused the vaccine. I later found It was only true if you were on over 20mgs of pred (which I am not). Last October, a new vaccine

Hello All, I am writing on behalf of my 89 year old mom who has been struggling with severe leg and back pain. Mom had Guillaune Barre Syndrome in 2009 resulting from the flu vaccine and both knee replacements prior to that. She is diabetic and otherwise cognitively fine. Her pain causes her syncope

I was wondering if having the Flu shot or Pneumonia shot causes AFib episodes like COVID did.

Hi I posted a while ago about the brand of thyroxine I’m on (Accord), just had my blood results. Recently moved doctors. After getting my results doctor has advised if you take thyroxine the NHS will only test TSH now. My old doctors used to do T4 and TSH. I could never get T3 done. On a positive

It pays to chat
Following my last post re shingles vaccine and that I had not had a face to face consultation since pre covid I have had a telephone consultation and I thought I would update you. The telephone consultation was with another unknown nurse within the haematology dept. My blood results were stable

Flare after Shingrix shingles vaccine?
Hi Everyone, I received my second (recombinant) shingles vaccine yesterday. The first one caused a mild fever and malaise. This time my finger joints are stiff and pretty painful. Has anyone else had something similar and, if so, how long did it last? Thanks so much
