Not having this vaccine puts anyone with a compromised immune system at risk.

Elfie 1, only your own doctor should be asked your question. No one here is a doctor.

With good wishes,

I think what you’re asking is is it ok to have with your conditions? TBH I’ve wondered the same! My other half has been given his but for some reason I’ve never been “invited” to have it and I’ve wondered why. I keep meaning to ask but you know how difficult or impossible it is to get to see let alone talk to a GP in the UK now!!🤷‍♀️

The rheumatologist I saw after my diagnosis with APS 20 years ago told me to avoid pneumonia vaccine. My pharmacist agrees. I get the annual flu shot and I had the original covid shot I am allergic to a stabelizer (PEG aka polyethalene glycol) which is in the new covid shot so sadly, I can not extend my covid immunity.

Hi Gina - yes it’s difficult to know what to do for the best. The same for the Shingles vaccine.

I had it 10 years ago with no problems. I believe the vaccine lasts 10 years. I also had the Pfizer COVID Vaccine and developed a lower extremity DVT, just fyi. It has resolved.
