Botox and hypothyroidism
Hello all please could you give me your views on having Botox injections ? My eyelids are so droopy and heavy that they are making my eyes constantly irritated . I think a Botox injection would lift them out of my actual eyes. But I don’t have the flu jab and when I had a tetanus injection I was quite

Another step towards a universal flu vaccine. Building a better flu shot.
Each year millions of Americans become sick with the flu, hundreds of thousands are hospitalized and tens of thousands die. Getting the flu shot can reduce the chances of infection. But, at best, the vaccine is only effective 40% to 60% of the time, according to the CDC. Now Michigan State University

Erectile dysfunction drugs (Viagra/Cialis) and flu vaccine may work together to help immune system fight prostate cancer after surgery.

I remember years ago that processed-"oncolytic" influenza and other viruses have already been tested, the

Should you have TWO flu jabs this winter? It seems the trusted injection wears off faster than we think.
Earlier this year, Professor Stanley Plotkin, a pioneer of vaccines, revealed that he has two flu jabs. The 87-year-old, from the University of Pennsylvania, has one in early autumn, followed by another in December each year. The reason? The trusted flu jab, it seems, wears off far faster than we think

PA sufferers ive just realised
How many good vitamins Marmite has in it. Fortified with B vitamins, barley wheat oats rye also has thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B12 and folic acid. Surely having some marmite each day ( as hard as it is to eat ) would help with PA and the extra vitamins will help. If you do have knowledge

Over-medicated or Having Low Cortisol on Thyroid-S?
I just started taking Thyroid-S after being hypothyroid for two months from a bad batch of NDT. Maybe I need to give Thyroid-S more time, or maybe I need to treat the adrenals first, but I thought I'd share my experience on it so far when I take 2.5 Grains. I used to take 2.5 Grains of WP, Nature-Throid

Do I need to take a B complex with the B12
I am reading all over that I need to take a whole bunch of B vitamins along with the B 12 in order for it to work. Do I really need B1, B2, B6 and folate to bring up my B12 levels. I have symptoms from all B vitamins so I don’t want to make myself worse. My MMA is very high as is my homocysteine. My

To Go or Not To Go
Well; here it is flu and cold season and Thanksgiving is almost here in the US. I'm supposed to fly next Tuesday to see family and the airline has said expect a wait of 2-1/2 hours to get through security. My daughter's husband is not feeling well, my daughter has a cold and she has three little girls

What are you doing to protect yourself now that its flu season?
Did you get a shot? Do you use medical masks in public? Avoid being around young school age kids? Do you have tips for staying healthy? I’ve had my pneumonia and flu shots. My hands are raw from constant washing but I know that’s one of the most important ways to keep colds and flu at bay. Any

Have flu, is extra B12 shot a good idea or not?
I usually get a flu shot (preservative-free for safety) but I waited too long this year and caught the flu. It's been four days of fevers and exhaustion and misery so far. Just horrid. I can see how flu can kill people. I think I'm turning a corner now though, as my symptoms are abating somewhat.

Hi, I was recently diagnosed as extremely deficient in B12, extremely high MMA and homecysteine.
