Less than satisfactory telephone consultation
Hi all , after singing the praises of the dentist last week I have had a very disappointing consultant appointment today. Firstly it wasn’t a consultant but one of the team. Having discussed my medication and health, he went off to discuss with the consultant that I had stopped the methotrexate. He came

Back again! IVF ICSI August ❤️
So I’m here again ladies!A little back ground from me in 2017 I went to do IVF ICSI in dec and I had to abandon the cycle due to me not responding well to 150 menapur. On my 8 day stimm scan it only showed that I had 3 follicles measuring under 10mm. Fast forward to March 2018 I started again this time

Ice therapy during chemo?
Getting ready to start six cycles of docetaxel in a few weeks. Have been reading about the use of ice mittens, booties and ice skull cap to ward off peripheral neuropathy and hair lose. Does this acutely work? Also, my OM at Moffitt Center in Tampa has been delaying the beginning of chemotherapy while

Experience of neurology during the coronavirus crisis. Asking for your help!
Dear all We have a virtual meeting of the Medical Advisory Panel of Ataxia UK in a couple of weeks. One of the topics we will be discussing is how neurology appointments have been affected by the coronavirus climate that we unfortunately find ourselves in. I would be so grateful if you could let me

Creatine, StemEnhance, B1 Thiamine & Amantadine
I received a bonus container of “Pure Creatine” with a mail order, a couple months ago. I decided to go to the internet to see what it was used for and was surprised to see claims that some people feel it has been helpful for PwP. I use an electrolyte drink mix recommended by my primary care doctor.

Short or long IVF protocol to improve egg quality? Advice needed...
Hey! I hope everyone is well and coping in these strange times. I have just had a virtual review appointment with my consultant and have been left pondering which protocol to try for my next IVF cycle. I am really unsure what to do and the consultant is awaiting my decision before a treatment plan

Legs Edema Swollen
Both my legs from the knee down have felt swollen. The cat scratch on my leg and no blood but a clear fluid. I showed wife and she diagnosed edema. She called ER to ask do I need to have it looked at. She got cut off. So looking at webmd, not to worry. I had just started walks in the mornings, I'll continue

Headaches
Past couple of nights this week I’ve had severe agonising headaches before bed and I am sleep deprived as been crying myself to sleep with the amount of pain I’ve been in. The pain is also in the jaw and around the eye area which is very sensitive. Taking medication which doctor prescribed me to take

Is massage therapy treatment effective for back pain?
Hey there, I'm from Thornhill, and I'm here to get suggestions from you guys. Has anyone tried massage therapy treatment? I had met with an accident a few months back. There were only some minor injuries, and it's getting better with time. But my back pain is unbearable. I'm stressed due to this. Recently

Sound familiar?
Hi everyone My name is Donna and I'm 51 years old. About 3 years ago I began to have trouble with both my legs. The symptoms have worsened over the years, however I do have periods of respite. The symptoms that I have mainly seem to happen when I'm sitting or lying down. I immediately get mild pins

2 Compounds Show Ability to Protect Neurons, Raise Dopamine Levels

Confused about what to eat? Let's talk holistic nutrition
Part 2 in free mini series: Holistic Nutrition
How we feel about ourselves, will be reflected by how we nourish ourselves.
Read that over. Feel it. And now, dear one, consider your current eating habits. Self enquiry. No judgement. Just curiosity. Habits are easy to form....not so easy

Worried about Breast Scan
Hi. I had a breast biopsy last year on a lump which turned out to be a fibroadenoma. I had another lump in January which was nothing and now just had another scan as I am worried about a different lump. I'm so worried about the results.
