Hi, I get pins and needles and numbness in my feet, especially in my toes. It seems to happen when I am walking a longer distance. MRI scan and nerve conduction tests have shown up nothing! I find it affects my walking, but I do my best to try and ignore the sensation, and concentrate on things around me. Take care x

I do, I am so glad I came across this website because I dont know anyone personally other than myself who has fybromyalgia, I have been diagnosed 6 years now and I am still learning what is fybromyalgia and what is not, it's so nice to have people to talk to who understand, because as you all know there is so many symptoms its difficult to explain to non fybro sufferers x

It would be worth testing for B12 deficiency to make sure there is no demyelination going on. That and for possible symptoms of early MS by neurologist. Also could be related to blood sugar impairment.

I think you're describing poor blood circulation (don't let anyone give you Sumatriptan if you have this!), such as a "dead leg" when you sit legs crossed for too long for example. That said, I have a permanent version of this, originally in the form of "hemiplegic migraines" triggered by bright light. I have been in agony 24/7 for the last 28 months, and noone will help me. They just want to injure me with what caused it in the first place - bright LED torch in the eyes. Screaming hot pins and needles, numbing, vice-like crushing, with my head feeling so close to going "pop". It's only now I've discovered this forum.

I get it in my hands, also cramping if I am doing work like crochet or even holding a book.

I get this quite severely during a flare. I find cold/heat treatments work well to get them (pins and needles) to ease; they do t fully subside mind. Or if it’s cramps/spasms heat works well for me. Having to take the day off today due to this exact problem, it’s only down my right side today.
