had first chemo yesterday. did not realise that after cool cap, i would be sent home with soaking wet hair (with shampoo/conditioner in) to travel home in torrential rain. i would have brought a hat if i'd known. it was torrential rain outside when i left and i had no raingear, wearing sandals, got back

Baseline scan today š¤š¼šš»
So today was baseline scan day, I have 5 Antral follicles on my left ovary and only 1 on my right š. Feeling a bit disappointed that there doesnāt appear to be much action on my right ovary as my last cycle I had 3 on my right and 4 on left. Guess being a year older now (age 44) makes a huge difference

Painful feet
Hi. Do you think sore, painful feet with burning and tingling sensation is associated with Low thyroid? I used to have painful burning feet before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. A few months after taking Levothyroxine, it went away and I didnāt think much about it. Now, 5 years later, the painful

Rectum Full Of Poop But No Urge To Go
Hi Guys, I really thought I was getting somewhere with my problem, above, but have been really struggling the last few days. I'm waiting on getting a proctogram done but have no idea when. I have tried many ways to try and alleviate this issue but am in pain and uncomfortable with this. There is no pain

Low AMH and risk of OHSS
Hi ladies, I'm currently in the middle of our 3rd icsi cycle. A little background...I have low amh for my age (11 at 33yrs), but our main issue is male factor. My first cycle I was on max dose of menopur and ended up in hospital with moderate ohss, 10 eggs, 1 fertilised, nothing to transfer. 2nd cycle

Changing medication?
Hi! Over the years I've been on a variety of antispasmodic medications - alverine citrate, some others I can't remember (!) and now I'm on mebeverine. When I switched onto mebeverine, my GP at the time said that it's helpful to switch every now and again because your body gets used to the medication

Two years later from near death. PA, low B12.
Two years later after near death experience due to PA. Neuropathy still alive, but changing very SLOWLY and still making progression. I found out a website that sells ampules 5MG (5000ug A.K.A. micro grams) methylcobalamin the good stuff. http://balans-arnhem.ccvshop.nl/Webwinkel-Product-143400297

Kate Gilbertās book. Polymyalgia Rheumatica and Giant Cell Arteritis: a survival guide. 2nd edition.
I just had to write to say how good this book is and I couldnāt recommend it more highly. I know many of you will already know it well but Iāve only just read it and apart from finding it full of useful information I was surprised at how enjoyable it was to read. I hadnāt bothered with it earlier in

Ropinarole
I was on ropinarole for 10 years and progressed from 1mg to 3mg and it still worked for my restless leg and the only reason I came off it was because I couldn't sleep and had heard of augument in relation to these tablets. Since I have come off them nothing else seems to work for me ie Gabapentin Pregabalin
