New to asking for help
For a few weeks now I have been in such a black hole and I don’t know how to get out of it, I’ve completely lost all self esteem/love/worth, I deleted all social media because I’m finding myself mentally tearing myself apart because I’m not “perfect” like some of these girls and I’m not talking about

All clear
Well ladies, after waiting 8 weeks for an appointment for the results of my CT, 2 days before it I received a letter saying it was all clear..followed by a phone call on the appointment day telling me not to go as scan clear and am now discharged 😀. Obviously I am so pleased with the result 🍾🍾 but

So I am having my first counselling appointment later today and looking to you guys for help / advice about how to say stuff / what to say when they ask what I'd like out of the sessions. Coming out
I am terrified to share this right now. It is so heavy to carry and I need to let it out. I have known since I was a child that I was different. I have always had uncontrollable feelings for women. The first time was at my brother's wedding... I was five years old. The bride's mother was stunningly beautiful

Why cant a I just accept and get used to the ongoing symptoms??
This @#÷@#% has been going on so long, day in and out, why does it still scare me so much? Everyone tells me that it all has to be anxiety, and have to accept that. It's not that easy when your afraid your going to die every day, all day, and nothing gets better, and the system that is supposed to help

I'M NEW HERE
I'm a 63-year-old woman living in Florida since late 2013. My primary care doctor in Arizona documented some anxiety and depression, along with my physicals since 2000. I continued to work until 2013. I filed for Disability. I then started to attend group and individual counseling. I got a psychiatrist

Next step - sensitive issue 😔
It’s been a while since i’ve been on here. Life’s been a bit of a rollercoaster since our failed FET in June. Emotions everywhere, work stress, relationships stress all resulted in me having to take time off work to sort my head and heart out. Started counselling with my partner in September-which was

Can anyone help with iron levels?
The endocrinologist suggested I get tested for haemochromatosis due to high ferritin levels. GP has done an iron panel first and if it doesn't meet criteria I won't be referred for genetic testing. Can anyone tell me anything about these results in relation to high ferritin and/or haemochromatosis?!

Best time to take Ramipril morning or bedtime?
I'm a 67 yr old woman and I have recently been prescribed Ramipril for really high blood pressure. I was given Amlodipine first, but had every side effect possible and some, then was changed to Propranolol which suited me great but when seeing a doctor because I couldn't breath properly was told it was

Genomic Sequencing - deeper dive/precision medicine question
I had genetic testing done by my oncologist. They came back with results that said I had no known mutations. At that point, the conversation basically transitioned away from genetics but I wonder if there is more that can be done with genomic sequencing: These videos inspire action but I'm just not

I'm new here... My partner was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer aged 30-31 / I'm trying to find a support network for Men?
Hi All, I've found nothing but posts from headstrong women sharing their own experiences and perspectives still rarely if not any posts from the partner's perspective/experience? This is not just for men but also for those who have relied heavily on the support of their partner's and how they dealt
