Husband Passed Away Last Week
So, my sweet, sweet husband Andy passed away last week due to alcoholic liver cirrhosis. He was a wonderful man with an addiction to alcohol. Eight months ago he found out he had this and quit drinking completely. Sadly, though completely sober for 8 months, he hadn't completed alcohol dependency counseling

I finally saw my GP, and he confirmed I was suffering witgh depression. I had 2 options, anti depressants or counselling. After seeing what anti depressants did to my now ex (massive weight gain, more severe mood swings if she forgot to take the pills one day) Self-referral form for counselling completed

Fut2 gene mutations
Has anyone here heard of this gene mutation? My 27 year old daughter did a genetic health profile and was found to have mutations on the FUT2 gene, which controls prebiotic and probiotic levels in the gut and can affect absorption of B12. She definitely has symptoms of B12/folate deficiency, but IF

Great counseling for family and children services
Growing up I really never realized the importance of mental health or just even the importance of knowing how to process and deal with emotions. I truly recommend Child Link counseling program. They specialize in families and children. They are really open and they will definitely take the time to talk

The Black Dog is back
Hello, I have not posted for quite a while, I felt OK I guess and was feeling reasonably good. However, I have felt a feeling, for a while of 'Is it worth the effort' and finding it difficult to motivate myself to do anything. I am a 63 year old male, my wife died in January 2017 from Diabetes related

Implication Counselling for ED
Hi We are looking at having Egg Donation abroad in Spain in the next couple of months. I know the law over here requires the clinic to offer you to have counselling which I whole heartedly agree with. However in Spain it is not mandatory. I am still wanting for us to have some implication counselling

I have a new job, working for a Hospice that offers palative care. It is very rewarding work, that has given me some point in living

Desperate: 5 years of crippling anxiety then depression
My husband has been surviving severe anxiety for 5 years now. Depression started accompanying the anxiety about 3 years ago. His brain shuts down. He cannot work, he’s lost all his friends, he’s been to therapists and psychiatrists, been on many meds, and even took the genetic test to determine the correct
