updates from last post, warning: long, sorry!
How is everyone doing today? It's quite a sunny day over here in CA and I'm waiting for one of the kids to finish their class for the day. They both got caught up in playing and that resulted in her being late to class. Kind of funny when you hear little miss being forced out of their room for goofing

Counselling- feeling lost
Hi everyone, So since being told the clinic haven’t got any further options for more cycles after 2 failed rounds and so many question marks, I’ve been going through a rollercoaster of emotions. I’m still quite sore, nauseous and no appetite after egg collection on Wednesday. I’m on antibiotics also.

I wasn't sure where to post this but this seems fitting I guess. I need to get things out but I worry about being judged. Maybe because I judge myself the most. More than anyone could ever judge me. I beat myself up a lot. Here's my (long) story... I have everything (most) everyone wants in life and

Update
Saw oncologist today... next steps pet scan, genetic testing, and more surgery. The results from all that will determine if I have to have any chemo and if so what kind and how much. Dr I say was great and I feel more at easy about everything going forward. I feel like the Dr has my back and is going

Start interferon or "watch and wait"?
First, thank you to all who have reached out to me this last week since I joined the forum. Your kindness has truly helped me come to terms with all this. I have my first meeting with my MPN specialist coming up soon. He will be giving me the results of the genetic testing to see which driver mutation

Should I push harder for tests to rule out essential thrombocythemia?
I have a complex medical history, mixed connective tissue disease, RA, eosiniophilc esophagitis, hypopituitarism, adrenal insufficiency, exercise anaphylaxis, a bunch of things that are unrelated, some serious, some annoyances. I have extremely high bone density, so have degenerative spinal disease

Counseling and Therapy
Hello. My name is Keith Wilson. I have had over five years of counseling and at least a year of individual therapy. I have been diagnosed with over fifteen different mental health diagnosis' but the doctors still do not quite know which one really fits my situation. Recently, I received a second opinion

CBD OILS FOR ANXIETY
Hello everyone, I am new to the group, and excited to join. I hope I can help others, just as you all can help me. I originally joined the group because I needed a group to do my school project on. However, I also suffer from untreated anxiety and depression. So, does my 5 year old son. I thought this

AF’s untimely arrival
Hi all, It’s just a short one really how do you all deal with her arrival? I’m struggling emotionally at the moment and I’m not in a position to do anything like counselling. I just wondered if anyone had any simple little tips. Hope you’re all well wherever you are in your journeys Thank

Finding it hard to cope with my friends traumatic brain injury moods.
Hi all, My friend collapsed into the road outside his flat in April 2019 and it caused a traumatic brain injury. After 2 weeks in ICU and 2 weeks in hospital he came back to his flat. He is 70 now and it has changed him a lot in ways I can understand from what I've learnt on this site. Moodwise and

What do you do to get yourself back up?
I have been struggling with depression for almost 20 years now. I have my ups and downs, but I am usually able to pull myself up after being down. I have been stuck in a "down" for months now and have tried so many things to bring myself back up, but they are not working. I just feel alone and sad most

Self Care and Self Confidence
I started my counseling internship back up again last week. I was only there for 2 days, but I had some pretty heavy clients. With one client I felt like I could have done things a little differently. Then, I wasn’t able to go in on Thursday because I had a minor medical procedure which was kind of traumatizing

Diagnosis
I have grade 2 invasive ductal breast cancer. I have 2 cancers, both in the right breast. Both are progesterone and oestrogen receptor positive, but one also has the HER2 protein marker. Because of that I get the entire gold package; surgery, reconstruction, chemo for 6-12 months with hair loss counselling
