PTSD AND ADHD AND BEING BROUGHT UP BY A borderline personality disorder parent
So i think I have adhd in adulthood, it makes sense but I also have explosive anger when I am triggered by something that feels like an event that happened to me before such as my physically abusive ex husband , i now react like this with my new partner who is driving me crazy one minute but he is delightful

Free Counselling Session - IVF
Hi, I am having two fresh cycles and then the clinic is taking the best embryos to egg transferral. I called the clinic to ask if allowed then three counselling sessions as doing 'three cycles' and they said only provide one at the end of egg transfer. Is this correct? Trying to look this up on HFEA

Tendonitis and other things
Last summer I had tendonitis on my wrist but it resolved by itself eventually. I used pain gel and wrist support. But I feel I have so tight tendons or can't say what it is all over my body. Bad days the gnawing pain goes from the heels all they up to the neck. It's muscle pain I think but feels very

Let's Talk Meningitis & Mental Health...……..
As those readers in the UK will know there was a tragedy last weekend when a well known television presenter decided to take her own life, aged 40. As I head towards 57, I realise just how young that is and how desperate this young woman must have been to end a temporary problem with a permanent solution

Pain body?
I was told recently I have a "pain body" and should get special counseling to cure it. I have never heard this term and wonder if anyone here has. I don't think it would be good for me to stop my medication and leave my therapist as recommended. But I am willing to try something new if it will help.

Just Wanting to Talk about Friend who has left me
I have written here a few times now about a lifelong friend who has been going through some mental health issues and feels that I haven't been supportive of her, even though I have tried to be the friend that was there for her. She had agreed to go to a few sessions of counselling with me, but quit after

I feel awful
I’ve been spiraling down over the past few months. I’m hitting bottom with depression and anxiety. Trouble sleeping, eating and even getting out of bed. Divorced 2 years ago and just a ton of trauma over the past 4 years. Tried and continue meds and counseling but I’m just not responding as my life gets

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum but everyone looks friendly and supportive, and in the UK too! I've been on forums previously that have just confused me, and I've never had the guts to post. Although this has been a hard journey I feel particularly overwhelmed at the moment - and I know its mostly

Keytruda Immunotherapy Update
After running through pretty much most of the available SOC, I got a Hail Mary with a genetic test indicating I was MSI-H (micro satellite instability high) and thus approved for Pembrolizumab. After 4 cycles (12 weeks) of Pembro (Keytruda) my PSA went from 86 to undetectable: < 0.01. Just started cycle

My life has fallen apart
I lost my job 4 years ago. Had to deal with a huge family mess. Care for then bury to in-laws. Clean up and sell their property. Deal w my partner of 20 years who had cancer. Get her thru to becoming a survivor. Care for a teenager during this time and get him to college where he’s struggled. Deal with

Sensitive. Please share positive stories with me. Early second trimester worries
Hi all, I can't calm myself this morning. I've convinced myself I don't feel pregnant anymore. I have a complicated history of pregnancy loss and have never carried past the second trimester. We got to miss second trimester before. I still can't bear to even think about that loss. I tried to go to counselling

Weight loss difficulties
I fell ill with a debilitating illness at 14 years old. Dropped out of school because of it, haven't been able to return to education or work since. Mainly housebound, started eating my feelings, grieved the person I once was. I put on quite a lot of weight, since then I have fluctuated. I keep trying
