Miscarriage at 8 weeks
Today - I was told the baby had no heart beat 😩 I knew something was off because I had weird pinching. I called my doctors office mid week and they told me it was normal. We did do the genetic testing and the embryo was a good grading. They don’t know why this happened, anyone else have this and have

Has counselling helped anyone?
I’ve been having IVF for 2 years. Had 3 FETs. no hint of a positive ever. It feels like every month is a horrific amount of grieving. I’ve not had any counselling and I’m starting to think maybe it will help. Has anyone had counselling? What did/didn’t help about it? How easy was it to get? (I suspect

is an ECG reading with QTc of 469ms normal?
Hi in 2006 I had an ECG done that I have recently found. It shows the QTc interval is 469ms but was reported as "normal". I was under the impression that anything above 440-460ms is prolonged or is it not that simple? Reason I ask is I am looking into making a claim that the ECG should have been interpreted

Hi everyone. I had a funny turn whilst in bed 2 months ago and managed to fall downstairs😖 I ended up in hospital because I’d banged my head and whilst in there was told a had ectopic beats and had an echo cardio gram and was told a had mild heart failure. I have never been as shocked and frightened

Have you been offered remote counselling?
As we are all aware, due to the current health concerns many Services have either stopped. In some instances, remote counselling has been offered via telephone or online. Has this been offered to you and if you wouldn't mind sharing, was this helpful? Chloe<3

Doner Eggs - a million thoughts and none at all?
After miscarriage and failed ivf cycles, were started on the road to anonymous frozen doner eggs. Never thought we’d be here, but it looks like the only way. We have our compulsory counselling session on Monday, my problem is that I have a million thoughts/ concerns for the future but none of them seem

Has anyone been on anti depression medication while having IVF?
Hi everyone! So, I was really fortunate at 41 to get pregnant with our first IVF cycle. I'd suffered 2 miscarriages prior to this & have pre existing medical conditions which made my pregnancy very high risk. I had extremely bad anxiety throughout the whole pregnancy and even after my baby was born

A Genetic Cause for Iron Deficiency
We see a steady stream of posters here who have iron-deficiency. Iron-deficiency is an important issue in hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism can reduce our ability to absorb iron. Low iron (typically low to very low ferritin) prevents thyroid hormone being handled well by the body. Many times, low iron

HELP! Advice needed!! Donor sperm and no word from clinic
Hello everyone, I’m looking for advice regarding our clinic. We were due to begin our third round of IVF (after 2 failed ICSI rounds) but using donor sperm this time. My husband has recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness. Due to me having lost my right Fallopian tube after an ectopic pregnancy

Hello you wonderful people! I would like to say a big "thank you" for all the support i'm getting from you! It is such a great feeling to know that you are not alone in this terrible situation and that there are people that had the same problem and are willing to "scratch their wounds" in order to provide

Spino Celebral Ataxia ( SCA2) / Huntington Disease
Hello All, Is there any cure for SCA2 ( spino cerebral ataxia) and Huntington disease. My mother in law is dealing with it and she has been bedridden from last 4 years. We have tried our best to see every possible neurologist in the town but things are going south as days are passing. Since we don't

Evening all, A little update. I'm not sure where best to post at the moment... I am in between having success with fertility treatment and gearing myself up for another 'journey' so have opted for this forum. I hope this is okay. The support on here has helped me so much. I had another post op check

Clinical Trials
Hello Fellow Fighters! I have been stage 4 with mets to bone and liver for 4 years. I went through 7 different treatments and was about to start abraxane in April. My oncologist was not excited about this because I already have neuropathy from taxol, and abraxane would most likely make it worse.

Therapists with anxiety
Are there any therapists out there who have a diagnosed anxiety disorder? I am starting my internship for counseling this fall and am feeling very nervous. I just wanted to hear from people who have been in the same or similar situation and what helped you get through it.

Relentless Anxiety
I’m new here and I’m struggling with anxiety everyday. I don’t know what else to do I’ve tried medication, counseling, meditation, exercise, diet, and prayer. I hope this community is active because it feels a little better reaching out. Any kind words are helpful.
