Where to start? even describing symptoms isn't easy
Ive tried
fodmap
and probiotics on and off an not sure they've made that much difference. I had a curry loaded with probably everything the
Fodmap
says to avoid and it didn't have much affect. On Friday i had a bland salad with salmon and was up at 3am.

Just joined, looking for help supporting my husband
He grew up in an abusive and neglectful environment, where nobody understood his health issues - he developed OCD, anorexia and depression, and had to figure out underlying digestive issues by himself (we still don't understand it, and he's still sticking to the extremely restricted
FODMAP
diet).

Things to note I've thought I've suffered IBS for years, I'm following
FODMAP
at the suggestion of my NUTRITIONIST and things seem to have settled stomach wise. I've always felt fatigued for years! Been tested throughout my life and nothing showed up ever.

Weight loss on Low Fodmap/GERD diet
My husband has been put on the Low
Fodmap
diet combined with a GERD (Reflux) diet. He continues to lose weight to the point that I am really concerned. He seems to eat plenty. Suggestions?

Have no idea what to do anymore
So i've had ibs for about 10 years, my symptoms are extreme cramps and severe bloating which has got to the stage where nothing fits me, i'm not overweight and eat pretty healthy. i've been following the low
fodmap
diet for few years now and avoid trigger foods which make it worse such as too much fibre

IBS Confused
I was advised to go on the
fodmap
diet and went to the group sessions. I found it did help but didn't eliminate the issue. I see people say they are IBS c or d etc? how do you know what you are? as my doctor just said it seems like you have IBS???

If You're Thinking of Switching Out Your DA for Lyrica...
Graham has had amazing results with
FODMAP
diet and many others. Don't just pop pills prescribed by your doctors. Your doctors are the ones who led you down the path of the DA nightmare and now they're leading you down the path of the Lyrica nightmare.

Low fodmap diet has been working!! (so far)
http://www.ibsdiets.org/
fodmap
-diet/
fodmap
-food-list/ Wow. It's really working wonders so far. In the first week I did not get any relief, and it seemed like things were getting worse. But over the past 4 days there has been a dramatic improvement.

Loss of appetite and sleep difficulty
I have been down different routes at diffetent times, I tried a low
FODMAP
diet for 6 weeks, gluten free, a herbal route for the stress and I have now cut out meat. None have really helped that much. I suffer from diarrhoea every day and occasional constipation that lasts about a week.

What products or other things help/ease your symptoms?
Tried lots of things, colpermin, charcoal, low
fodmap
, relaxation techniques etc all help to a degree but symptoms always return or never really completely go. And I'm fed up!

Some bloating/trapped wind relief! Update
They had planned to try
fodmap
but my food diary was balanced and showed no pattern for triggers (which helpfully concluded my trigger was ..."food"!)

Been suffering with gastritis and IBS for a year, still in pain, please help!!
Been on the
Fodmap
diet and still don't know what food to avoid or take...Doing yoga helps a bit, but I get really scared each time the pain comes. Did all tests and showed gastritis and colitis. Does anyone have had similar problems? Can you suggest me any natural treatment?

Newly Gluten-Free
So, I do not have Coeliac but am on the
FODMAP
diet; gluten and dairy free and am feeling much better. My friends and family are also very supportive, and as my husband does the cooking I am fortunate with that, too.

Wow what a flare up
Currently on low
FODMAP
and at the re introduction stage. Been testing ice cream, 2 a 3 scoops on consecutive days have given me the worst results yet. Major abdominal pain and wind/bloating. Well I guess that's one off the list...

Stopping Lisinopril
I've also been on the
FODMAP
diet because my doctor thought I had IBS. If this is from the Lisinopril and the pain goes away, I will be so ecstatic!

IBS-D result at last
I've tried low
FODMAP
, different types of fibre, low fibre, low fat, Pro biotics, small meals, peppermint tea (which I quite like to be honest), exercise, etc etc.....then I read an article about someone with "Bile Acid Diarrhea". The lady in the article described my life with the loo.
