Is this possible
I have started
FODMAP
diet as GP suggested and taking 12wk Symprove one two weeks in now. Is it normal to get to 47 and suddenly get IBS in a man? The reason I say this as most other friends and family I know with IBS are woman and have suffer ed from a young age teenagers.

latest fodmap info needed
I was under the impression that green beans are ok and cabbage is not - but I`ve just got a new cook book "The
Fodmap
Friendly Kitchen" which says cabbage is ok and green beans should be limited. I don`t have access to the fodmaps app so I`m hoping someone can give me up to date information.

Pain worse at night
I'm on the
FODMAP
diet, which is horrible. Nothing sounds good to eat and have been nauseous at times. Would like to her order CT scan for peace of mind.

This is called the
FODMAP
diet and is mentioned in many posts on this and some other forums. Very recently I spoke to another dietician who suggested a low chemical diet.

Just had Doc Appr with my 18yr old son. PA in the family!
Was told to use
Fodmap
diet, Gp now thinks it's ibs. I've asked Gp to do IF blood Test which will be done next week. GPC test was negative. Coeliac was negative. Last blood test results : FBC 141g/L ref range 135-175. Serum B12 174ng/L ref range 130-180.

Low fodmap diet works!!!
Hello. I've been suffering from this nightmare for two years. I read about this diet and it worked immediately for me. The link between our intestinal health and rls is proven. Look it up. It's worth it!

FODMAP diet - does it work?
Have been referred to an NHS dietician to possibly follow the
FODMAP
diet which I know is very restrictive. I am waiting for an appointment. Has anyone had any success with this? Any other suggestions for getting rid of wind? I am aware of the worst food culprits so do try to avoid.

Ibs much better!
I have always followed a good diet pretty much the
fodmap
. Recently cutting out all caffeine and very little dairy or gluten. But the big difference for me over the last six weeks has been taking pre and pro biotics.

New here and FODMAP
For the past 5 years the NHS Dietician has been trying to sort out my stomach bloating and wheat intollerance, and am now on a low
FODMAP
diet. Thing is, it has helped a little but looking at some of the symptoms they are the same so I guess could be some cross over, or B!

small success after 8 years of constipation
Over a 2 year period I tried gluten-free diet, lacto-free diet and
FODMAP
diet, all to no avail! I then started a chart which I cross referenced with Bristol Poo Chart. I noted down everything, e.g. how often, colour, smell, accidents....... .
