My husband has been put on the Low Fodmap diet combined with a GERD (Reflux) diet. He continues to lose weight to the point that I am really concerned. He seems to eat plenty.

Suggestions?

Can he see a nutritionist? I dropped a lot of weight on FODMAPS but I had a dietician monitoring what I was eating through an app called my fitness pal to ensure I was getting proper calories and proper nutrients. It's a really hard diet to do without support. Unfortunately I don't know anything about the GERD diet so I can't recommend any foods

Hi I went on the FODMAPS diet and was under a nutritionist but over 4 months I lost 2 stone in weight which I did not want to lose. Went from stone to 7 stone I am 5ft 10 inch tall. Being on the diet did not make any difference to my IBSD symptoms. Had to come of diet and finding it very hard to gain the weight again.

Being on the dirt
