Here I go again
Hi all, I normally hang around on the Bridge to 10k, but since I broke my ankle last year it's taken a long time to get back to
fitness
. I tried to restart in January, but had to stop again a few weeks in with a weak hip, but I'm off again! This time I started with week 1 - of course!

How S&F changed me ….
So I started S&F in my consolidation phase, using the 12-week
fitness
programme to keep me on track ( https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/12-week-
fitness
-plan/ ), replacing the C25k runs with 30min runs which expanded to 60min in the latter stages.

Another 30 minutes
It is obvious though that my
fitness
level has sunk hard. I seriously need to build it up slowly again. I wanted a little challenge, so I thought to try for negative splits. Starting slow and increasing my pace slightly after each kilometer (I did 3,4 km in total).

There's a mini version of me on C25K......
What better way to get your
fitness
levels back up than doing C25K I suggested, and I'll even do it all again with you?!

Can’t lose weight
Hi everyone, I’ve started my health &
fitness
journey after a lot of weight was gained during COVID. I’m only 23 but the heaviest I have ever been. I’m eating extremely well and drinking 2l of water every day plus exercising in the gym 3 times a week but my weight is not budging.

Macros Calculator for Weight Gain
As my
fitness
and strength has improved I’ve been increasing the weights, slowly. Now I need/want to gain about a stone in weight, obviously looking for muscle gain, but I keep getting various recommendations for the % split of Carbs, Proteins & Fats.

HHM Training - Week 8 Day 2
I’m beginning to scale down my coffee and croissant intake as I’m getting stricter on my diet and I can see my stomach slowly returning to
fitness
levels. I always like myself more when I’m slim and fit. I swear it’s vanity that keeps me pounding the pavement!!

Week 1, Run 1. Good to be back
Feel I wasted all that
fitness
I gained by graduating the programme. Lessons learned? I shall not add in runs on rest days and I shall not obsess about improving speed/distance. I’m slow - it’s ok. It’s all exercise.

Liver transplant
He has passed the heart and lung/

tests. The consultant suspects cancer in the liver bile duct but spy glass test broke on the last try so inconclusive. They have kicked the next spyglass test down the road for another 3 weeks which means he’s getting weaker and weaker.

How to get to couch?
I’m 69, female (despite the name at the top), never been sporty but need to improve my
fitness
. I’ve now completed week 1, but am struggling. I find it difficult to maintain a brisk walk and can barely manage a slow jog. I’m sure the snails are laughing as they whizz by lol.

Functional Consequences of Mutations in Myeloproliferative Neoplasms
These epigenetic mutations, such as TET2, EZH2, ASXL1, or DNMT3A mutations, promote clonal hematopoiesis and increased

of aged hematopoietic stem cells in both clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) and MPNs.

Dodging the downpours!! 🦆🌧🌦
I mustn’t have lost as much
fitness
as I’d thought. I headed down towards the river but then turned and ran back towards Newport and Tock Park thinking I might see my daughter, who was starting from her house at about the same time and running the reverse route.

Site Change??
I haven't seen any posts regarding daily living with interesting photos from Crazy
Fitness
etc. It now seems to be solely about pmr/gca sufferers and not more general autoimmune conditions. I'm a bit foxed 🤔 (I'm not complaining, just interested) Have a good day.
