When your body goes wrong A keen cyclists woe
I think I have a chance to rebuild my
fitness
and discover what I am capable of doing physically. I’m under no illusion as to what level of
fitness
I have dropped, but as to body health, it’s a whole new ball game. This is strangely exciting considering the pain and depth of despair I experienced.

Short of breath since pandemic
I need to build my
fitness
but regardless of that my breathing has changed for the worse since march 2020. Oh and I do take antihistamines everyday as I have a grass pollen allergy which gives me itchy throat and runny eyes and nose.

Fitness test
Had my 4 week
fitness
test with PT. I'm busted. I improved on everything except push ups. They stayed the same. Plank and Tricep dips where the biggest improvement.

Update on my GCA/Large vessel vasculitis journey: off pred and back to normal (with TCZ)
My exercise level is pre-disease (2500 km road and mountain bike cycling since May) and so is my physical strength (Garmin has a whole set of
fitness
parameters and they are comparable again to the years before).

13 Year old suffering with football
His
fitness
levels are excellent along with his diet, but he now is losing interest in his hobby due to this debilitating state he constantly endures.

Excercise Watch
It tells you if your
fitness
level has got better, V02 Max. This measures your oxygen consumption during exercise, as your V02 increases so does your
fitness
level so you train harder which can be dangerous.

Why is Walking a Big Deal?
Walking at a brisk pace will help improve your cardiovascular
fitness
and so much more. It keeps moving you forward, in physical health, in distance and we hope in mental health as well.

Back on track?
I could feel I’d lost a little bit of
fitness
. But I panted and puffed my way to the end, and am now stretched and flopping on the sofa. I love ❤️ my couch especially after a run 🏃♀️. So hopefully I’m a bit back on track and next week will be back to normal!

Hi Everybody!
I've just started couch to 5k to get my
fitness
back up after having my beautiful baby Esther 6 months ago. I was quite a gym bunny before I was pregnant but I wanted to get into something that couldn't be shut down by another lockdown right while I was seeing progress!

HHM Training - Week 8 Day 3
I still have mental battles during all of my runs, my mind constantly telling my body that it doesn’t want to carry on and then when I know the end is coming I pick up the pace and my real
fitness
tells.

Crossing the Bridge Gang
I lost motivation and as the months went by I lost more and more
fitness
and gained the dreaded COVID stone plus a few extra pounds. I am on a mission to get back to
fitness
, shed the extra weight and enjoy my running again. I need motivation.

Exercise and weight gain
I currently weigh 11 stones and I really want both to regain my
fitness
and to lose the weight. I used to go to the gym daily, mainly doing stretching exercises plus using the treadmill and cross trainer. I returned to the gym two weeks ago and have been trying to run very slowly indeed.

W9R3 ✅✅ Graduate 👩🎓 14.6 stone down to 12.6 in 9 weeks!
Not only have I improved my
fitness
, I’ve lost 2 stone by simply running, no dietary change, just this run and a 30 - 60 min walk on my rest days. On my 5 minute cool down walk I was almost in tears as I’m just not the sporty type and I’ve always been the unfit one at home!

That Phone Call
The way I look at it is that it’s another 3 weeks of my super healthy diet and 21 walks to build up
fitness
so really it’s a bonus it was cancelled. Do I sound convincing 🤔 No,I thought not. Thanks to everyone who sent messages, they really help.

It’s been seven hours and 49 days...
Been tough 7 weeks since calf injury with physio treatment and losing much of my hard earned
fitness
, more importantly slowing my recovery from heart surgery which was a key motivational factor for me doing this...
