Getting back into it

After breaking my tailbone late last year, losing all my fitness and putting on a fair few pounds, I was dismayed to learn the other day that I can barely run for five minutes at a stretch. Rather than push myself or give up, I'm getting back into the program.

I did W1D1 today and I'm looking forward to getting my body back used to the rhythm of running. And doing it the right way. I have nothing but good things to say about the program, and I can't wait to get stuck into it.

Onwards and upwards.

Happy running :)

Huge well done to you and welcome back. You know the form and this time, no pressure, you know what is coming. Slow and steady is still the mantra, and do keep posting your runs and do please, read the other posts too :)All in this together and supporting each other:)

Brilliant!

Well done you! I can only imagine how painful a broken tailbone must be ouch. Good luck! 😊

It was quite painful! I'm healed now, though, and that's a huge relief.

Great call. Hope you enjoy your runs and you’ll be back at graduation before you know it. I’m amazed at how quickly the programme has gone.
