Full blown PV now
She still considers me low-risk due to my age (52) and
fitness
level and weight. If you recall, my MPN was missed for seven years. I started with high platelets then weird and wonky white blood counts, and now I'm here. It took ten years to go from ET to masked PV to PV.

In a quandary!
So all going well in that I am mobile, am still able to go hill walking, and keep to a
fitness
regime. I have now been diagnosed with Palmoplantar pustulosis psoriasis, which initially only affected one foot quite badly. I have had light treatment, but this was ineffective.

Knees got the better of me for now
I hope to be back one day, but to be honest may just stick to my usual long walks and return to swimming for aerobic
fitness
instead. Loved the running while it lasted though, all 90 seconds of it 😀 and it has spurred me on to get fitter somehow.

Sometimes...
I am not as aware of my breathing as I was...it is coming naturally, apart from after a little incline which did show me that my
fitness
is not back to what it was, just yet. But, it will be !

Back to it - again 😊 Week 3
Here I am once more with renewed determination to get my
fitness
back. My last run I did too much too soon and had an achy hip for a week. It wasn’t serious but it was a warning. That and other stuff interfering just stopped me for a while. I’m doing OK now.

Week 6 Run 3 ✅
😊 Sometimes it’s hard when you’ve done the program before to remind yourself that you’re building up to previous
fitness
. You’re not there yet! I have a tendency to start too fast when my legs are raring to go. A good while ago I received some great advice from GTFC.

trying to make a comeback
Looking for mental health talks and tricks people use to encourage myself and what plans can I make to make it easy to come back slow and steady but have it permanently in my life rather than short fast burst as have promised my dad and family to lose 10 kgs of weight and get my
fitness
back as I suffer

My 25th Parkrun
I feel like I’m getting back to my previous
fitness
last November before all the nasty bugs hit for weeks on end followed by a calf strain. Hopefully looking forward to many events starting with the Liverpool Spring 10k next Sunday where I will get my first medal! 🏃🏽♀️

Last walk for a while
I wonder how I can avoid losing
fitness
over the next few months. The return leg of the walk is an easy 2kms along the brow of the hill, with the sea visible here and there in the distance.

Diagnosis process
This is really hard for me as I’m very into my
fitness
and find myself being unable to sign up for comps etc due to fear of pain. These just feel like really bad period pains and can last between 5-30 minutes, but often pass quite quickly and all of a sudden I feel normal again!

Post stent chest sensations
I've been medically managing since then and I had a stent fitted in my LAD artery on Valentine's Day this year :) I'm 38 years old and hope to have a long, healthy life ahead so I'm attempting to devote myself to a healthy lifestyle; eating the best possible diet and improving my

Do I need to run faster?
Yesterday I ran for 30 mins at a slow manageable pace but my Garmin registered my run as ‘unproductive’ which I took to mean ‘not fast enough to increase
fitness
’. I am not finding running for 30 mins easy.

CHANGING ROOM CHAT...January. Week 1. Age is an issue of mind over matter...
Do not feel guilty, do not berate yourself... take those good vibes from that time with you as you move onward into a new year of
fitness
:) Okay... ramble over and on we go... I have been thinking ! Always worrying... especially for my husband!

controversial/unethical?
I have 5 adult children and a husband who is described as an athlete in terms of physical
fitness
all willing to be living donors, I’ve had messages from a friend who is also willing to be a donor. I know the risks.
