Faster Finish Run 😊
I’m pleased with the run 😊 5 mins Zone 1, HR 127, pace 9:14 30 mins Zone 2, HR 148, pace 8:54 5 mins Zone 4, HR 160, pace 6:48 Strava thinks I put in a little effort and gives me 2

Tapering from 1mg
But I'm trying to get my
fitness
and muscle strength back.So I'm doing a slow taper one less a week, and am now on 4 a week. I can't do .5 because I'm using gastro resistant pills which can't be cut. Today I'm due a day with no pred and I wonder whether I'm doing this correctly.

trainer, I garden, walk and paint. I have a counsellor ….my goodness I have tried !! But I can do no more.. I always sleep very badly but last night ( inspite of usual medication ) Persistent A F went alarming , feeling that my chest was too full , yes panic .

Ahhhhhh… finally I’ve done some solid workouts…
(He said that wasn’t great as it put a lot of stress on his shoulders, but I am just continually in awe of his
fitness
) But once finished, calmed down, water drunk, I felt really like myself again! So hubby and I can now again step in sync, as his own step arrived.

Started simple stretching today.
This is a prelude to commencing an exercise routine, probably at least a month before I try to do convention

. I exercised heavily from the ages of 25 ISH until my late 50's. But retirement at 60 (mistakenly) led to a complete vegging out.

I wasn't totally on my own, my OH who did C25K years ago but never kept it up came a long (and showed that yoga, pilates, tai chi and rock box apparently do work for keeping up the running

levels); so with a bit of company the pace was a bit faster than I would have set if I'd been by myself.

It's great to be back out there and building

again! My next run, the dreaded week 5 run 3 will not only be the longest run I've done on ages but will also be on the day that marks 5 weeks without drinking any alcohol!

My Longevity after a Triple Bypass.
Slowly worked my way back up to a good
fitness
level, also have learnt since your blocked arteries never completely block so from my point of view maybe extra flow!Stuff I get upto now at 78 incredible.

Sometimes the odd snack throughout the day approx. 200kcal My

pal seems to report that my nutrients are at a good level but worried my calories are low. I dont really understand the what calories I should be eating and what to do to increase them if I need to.

RED January week 1 ☑️
I can feel my
fitness
starting to come back. I’ve been away for a few days to Essex and Kingston upon Thames with GTFC so it’s been good running in the morning in new places. We even did Bushy Park parkrun.

2 years Pred free
I also felt that way but did finally get to the end point and have been Pred free for 2 years now and feel well and back to my normal
fitness
pre PMR. I just wanted to let those struggling know it is possible to be Pred free and feel better again. Sending best wishes to you all.

W2 R3 and an invisible skylark!
It was exactly a week since I did w2 run2, because I have been on new grandma duties stuck under a baby (tough gig, somebody had to do it 🥰 ) It crossed my mind to drop back to week 1 run, but I figured that I felt ok, I've been doing my other stuff so I shouldn't have lost

Weight gain with Femara/Letrozole
I am a
fitness
instructor and haven't changed my eating or exercise so I'm thinking it may be a side effect of the treatment and hormones combined. My chin has also decided to break out in spots - not something I have dealt with since using an IUD.
