W2 R3 and an invisible skylark!

What a difference a blue sky makes! Run 2 and run 3. That field is definitely looking greener too.

It was exactly a week since I did w2 run2, because I have been on new grandma duties stuck under a baby (tough gig, somebody had to do it πŸ₯° )

It crossed my mind to drop back to week 1 run, but I figured that I felt ok, I've been doing my other stuff so I shouldn't have lost fitness - and it supposedly takes two weeks for a noticeable drop anyway. So I went for run 3. It was my best feeling run yet, so I suppose I'll attempt a week 3 run? Maybe?

Back to my lane next to the field, and I'll be honest, I'll be glad when I can go further but it's reasonably flat, and it isn't muddy, and I get this view.

And yesterday, the sky was blue as could be and, somewhere up there, a skylark was singing its heart out.

Today it's cold and drizzly again, so I timed it well (or, more accurately, I was lucky!)

Happy running, folks (or whatever it is you're doing)

🍏You so made the right decision! Listening to our own bodies is key to making decisions. Your reasoning was right and the rest from running enabled your body to be ready for this run. If you enjoyed this one go straight up to 3:1 next run! Such a stunning place to run! Granny duties are keeping you fit πŸ™Œ I bet you are loving having this precious time with this babe!

Yes I think I've answered my own question, Annie! And yes I'm loving this special time, it's something I didn't get much of when mine were babies because I lived too far away, it feels like a privilege to help out x

Sometimes a longer break gives us fresh legs to run on 😁 and what beautiful views .Apart from a good run, there's not much better than being stuck under a baby is there? Enjoy! It gets better every day, my 20 year old granddaughter and 18 year old grandson are a joy to be with
