I'm 66. I started taking blood pressure pills at 40. Until 2 years ago I was very active even with the decline of my kidneys. I taught a high impact dance class lifted weights, camped, fish, hunt, bike, walk and a artist/ crafter. When I got to 10 GFR.i basically quit everything except my full time job. My job is after school programming. Which luckily is not very physical. Now I'm on Home PD. I have more energy. Started an exercise routine. That's going slowly cuz I've been a pud for a year and half. I'm going camping over labor day weekend for 5 days on the river. I tent it with all the trimmings. I now do only 2 exchanges a day. I was at 4. because I have animals I chose to do manual. My animals sleep in my bed and they are old, like me. Lol 😆 So doing 2 exchanges a day frees me up for more activities again. I did quit couple of board positions that hope to join again after transplant. Fingers crossed soon. I have over 3 years on the list but I was deactivate for 2 because of breat cancer caught super early and only did radiation. I have a very supportive family. My older sister had a transplant 17 years ago and my son had one year and a half ago
