Now this one...we all need to do...
But today, the rest of the day, was a day for me, that is as important as any of the
exercise
or active days... today was going to be a rest day.

lowered my dexa scores!
My GP said he’d heard you could improve scores with diet and
exercise
but he’s never actually seen it done! He was as pleased as I was! (He was quite young!)

Nordic walking
Any views on this - It's supposed to achieve more physical out put for the amount of time spent and per amount of
exercise
done?

Equivalent of a Cure?
Does anyone in this group believe that he or she has achieved the equivalent of a cure (either stopping progression of the disease or reversing it) , using any combination of supplements, devices, or
exercise
regimens? Thanks- Alex

Dealing with Health OCD
In time with some meds and herbal products, more interaction with people,
exercise
, it lost its control over me. It never goes totaly away, but having a positivive attitude on life, and faith in God, and most of all staying active I became the person I used to be.

1 month and 2 weeks after circumcision
When erected, I can see some of the swelling but it does look normal when erected. and when I play sports or
exercise
, as the penis becomes smaller, the donut swelling become visible. Does this become better? And how long will it take to become fully flatten out?

Shingles vaccine
I’m now reasonably well, recompensed, albeit tired and with poor
exercise
tolerance. I’m in the in between group for routine eligibility for the shingles jab, being over 65 and under 70. I’ve asked my GP and have been told that I am not eligible despite my diagnosis.

Possibly the worst symptom of Afib
I have had 2 dramatic episodes where my ongoing heart palpitations got worse & went to my collapsing onto the floor for 20 min. I was covered in sweat, unable to move, felt dizzy, nauseous & with a tourniquet sensation on each limb. I have a doctor's followup appointment to discuss my 7 day Holter Monitor

PMR flare or not…
I did a slow taper down to 2.5mg Pred and at the same time I thought I’d pulled my knee doing an
exercise
class as my knee swelled up & felt very sore (about 6 weeks ago this started) The GP thought it was arthritis but the physio she referred me too thought it was the
exercise
class.

Tachycardia after ablation
What is your level of endurance/
exercise
that you comfortably tolerate after ablation? I was working in the garden today, NOT exerting myself much at all and my heart rate was in the 130-140 range for very little effort. I chose to rest, but could have kept working.

HAS ANYONE EVER TRIED ELECTRICAL STIMULATION OF A TUMOR?
I'm experimenting with an EMS (muscle
exercise
machine that uses electrodes and electrical stimulation for muscle growth and healing) on a collection of swollen lymph glands on my left pelvis (probably cancerous - feels like a mass more than a collection of lymph nodes...waiting for CT results and oncologist

Thank you to all who replied to my post. They do an aqua class at the local sports centre so I'll give that a try first and see how I get on. They have a class on a Wednesdays and Fridays for 45 minutes. When I was there yesterday taking a look, the class was actually on and it looked as though it

There is a build up of lactic acid after even the smallest amount of
exercise
that we do. This may help to understand the mechanism behind the fatigue occurring.

Frequent injuries when exercising.
I end up with multiple irritable joints from simple stuff, when I used to be able to
exercise
freely. Do people think this is thyroid or just age related? Or vitamin related?
