🙂 Many of us have noticed changes in our Speech…it can be embarrassing and frustrating. If this becomes a real problem we’re generally referred to a Speech Therapist..and there is also the option of joining AtaxiaUKs link to Speech Therapy.
Something else I’ve seen recommended..is learning another language. I have to say..initially this sounded ridiculous to me but..I clicked on the link anyway. And any kind practice is better than none.
🙂It turned out to be a fun exercise..doable…and it’s free. Simply choose a language to start.
Hello there, cause I am very wobbly it influences my speech and saying reasonable phrases I started to use some weird repetitive sounds. Have you ever heard about these cases among people having ataxia and other neurological disorders. I algo try to learn French. Can some other speech therapy help? Thank you for reply.
🙂Unfortunately having a diagnosis of ataxia can lead to experiencing issues with Speech..I’m noticing this myself.
🤔You might be interested in information in this link..it’s possible to enrol on an online course-have referral from a GP or enquire about Speech Therapy privately.
